Wunder Coffee Bar Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch is in the basement of the Hyundai outlet in Songdo. If you spot the bagel list in the café/bakery zone, just head a bit further in!

Last weekend! I went to Songhyeon-a for a friend's bridal shower gathering. My friend treated us to a really filling lunch-dinner, but a palate cleanser afterward isn't optional, it's mandatory, right? Since it's a place I loved before, I wanted to introduce it to my friends haha, so I revisited Wunder Coffee Bar.

That day we were originally at Triple Street, but it was so hot we moved over to Songhyeon-a — and maybe because of the heatwave, even the inside of the building wasn't cool, so we desperately needed something cold and sweet, ㅠㅠ

Wunder Coffee Bar menu: the Songdo café with hojicha soft serve

The best thing about Wunder Coffee Bar is its special menu! Not only does it have ice cream, but it has a 'hojicha' ice cream, so you can try a not-so-common combination here.

For the soft serve, you can choose from three flavors: hojicha, vanilla, or mix. You can order the soft serve on its own, or pick a coffee to put the ice cream on top of! There are also four types of Einspänner topped with cream — Wunder Coffee, Matcha, Ube, and Mocha Einspänner — so there are plenty of options.

FYI, ordering as a set gets you a discount~ I was really curious about the kaimak too, but since we'd already eaten a big meal, we skipped dessert and just ordered ice cream and ice cream lattes.

Since it was my friends' first time trying it, they each picked a different flavor haha. Since I'd already tried them all and liked both the hojicha and vanilla, I went with the mix!

The Wunder Gato looked so tempting... My mouth was watering before it was even fully served.

The best order to eat a Wunder Gato

With Wunder Coffee Bar's Wunder Gato, I recommend enjoying the soft serve first with the spoon that comes with it, then later drinking the coffee together with the melted ice cream. My friends' reactions were great too, so I was pretty happy about it~

The hojicha ice cream isn't bitter — it's sweet but not overly so, with a subtle aroma that makes it quite delicious! The soft, sweet ice cream paired with the slightly bitter coffee is the best.

Dwaejibar ice cream, 6,800 won: the flavor kids go for

I finally got to try the Dwaejibar ice cream (₩6,800), a menu I'd been wanting to try for a while haha

Soft vanilla ice cream topped with tangy-sweet strawberry syrup and cookies — a different flavor from the Wunder Gato ㅠㅠ Since Songhyeon-a is a place where a lot of families come, I thought kids would absolutely love this one haha.
