First visit to Easy White Bread Bucheon Sinjung-dong

Today I went to a Bucheon bakery café 🍞 — apparently super famous for its uncut milk bread and drip coffee, so I toddled in for my very first visit.

I always used to pass by this place while chasing food around Sinjung-dong Station, so I finally timed my visit for around weekday lunchtime 🚶‍♂️

Right on the storefront you can see the artisan's touch 👀 a deep, rich dark chocolate milk bread — coming soon 🍫 Ooh?

I'm completely obsessed with chocolate-on-chocolate bread, but sadly it's still coming soon, ugh 😭 Leaving the chocolate behind, I stepped inside Easy White Bread Sinjung-dong!

That delicious bakery smell drifting through the air — yes, there you are, sniff sniff sniff 👃 Freshly baked bread makes it even more irresistible, and my anticipation kept building and building.

I might have drooled a little at the smell of the bread... but that's a secret.

What the staff recommended: my order and the prices

At Easy White Bread Sinjung-dong, I picked walnut cranberry rye milk bread for 7,500 won, fig cream cheese for 1,500 won, and special brewing coffee for 4,000 won. Looking at the menu, my usual indecisiveness kicked in 🤔 I kept going back and forth, and back and forth again... until in the end, I just went with the staff's recommendation — they said it was their best-seller and the tastiest bread, so I said okay 🤣

About that walnut cranberry rye milk bread — apparently it sold out yesterday, and today (the day I bought it) too, so it's a genuinely popular bread. Staff pick!

While they packed everything up, I didn't forget my duties as a blogger — snapping photos of every little corner.

Opening the takeout bag at home: the special brewing iced coffee first

All packed up 🌟 I teleported straight home, washed my hands real quick 💦, and got right to it ✌️ Camera out — everyone, look here, click click, peace ✌️📷

First things first, I was thirsty, so I gulped down the Easy White Bread iced americano ☕️ You could catch a hint of fruity aroma. I have to have an iced coffee every single day — can't live without it! — and this one didn't disappoint.

Nothing like a nice cup of coffee today, so good, so tasty.

What does the walnut cranberry rye milk bread taste like?

Couldn't wait any longer — time to try the walnut cranberry rye milk bread and fig cream cheese the staff kept recommending 🤗 How good could it possibly be? My heart was racing.

I usually only eat soft milk bread, so this walnut cranberry rye milk bread was a first for me 🍞

Cranberries and walnuts studded throughout — and the taste is, hmm, really nutty(?), plus the rye's earthy depth on top of that! It's like eating a bite of health 💪 Gave me a little boost of energy. There's never a dull moment thanks to the chewy texture, with cranberry, walnut, and rye all coming together in perfect harmony 🍞

I also tried it with the fig cream cheese they recommended alongside — and it brings out a totally different flavor from eating it plain, a tangy, subtle sweetness(?) — such a treat 🫣 The fig cream cheese was another staff recommendation!!

If you like dried fruit or nuts, give it a try, seriously 🥄 Just one warning!! It really gets stuck in your teeth 👄 Brushing afterward is a must.

Next time at Easy White Bread: the chocolate milk bread

Had a great, filling food adventure(?) with bread(!) today 👋 If I get the chance, next time I want to try the milk bread challenge.
