Bucheon pizza lunch: basil Caesar salad pizza & Toowoomba at P&Chick

This time I'm writing about a great pizza place in Sinjungdong, Bucheon: P&Chick (피앤칙).

Why I picked P&Chick for lunch near Sinjungdong Station

P&Chick is a Western restaurant in Sinjungdong, Bucheon, where you can get pizza, pasta and even pork cutlet all in one place. I was meeting a close younger friend near Sinjungdong Station for the first time in a while, and there were so many good restaurants around that we agonized over where to eat. We both said, "Let's have pizza!" and after some searching we ended up at P&Chick, which does pizza, pasta and cutlets.

How to get to P&Chick, and parking

P&Chick is 300m from Exit 2 of Sinjungdong Station, in the arcade between Buildings 1 and 2 of Wibe Complex 3. Walk from Wonmi Police Station toward Bucheon Fire Station and you'll pass a building with Mega Coffee, Compose Coffee and a red bean bun bakery (Bbangjangsu Danpatbbang). P&Chick is in the very next building.

Inside P&Chick and opening hours

One whole wall of the restaurant is windows, so the view was lovely, and the interior was clean and even had a beam projector. There are plenty of tables, so it looked like a good spot for a kid's birthday party, and it's also nice for eating with family or children.

Hours are Monday to Saturday 11:00–24:00, and it's closed on Sundays.

What's on the P&Chick menu?

P&Chick has a wide menu: pizza, pasta, pork cutlet, Korean snack food and fried bar snacks. Here's what's on it.

• Pizza: Chicago pizza, Chicago pepperoni pizza, combination pizza, sweet potato pizza, basil arugula balsamic pizza, potato pizza, basil Caesar salad pizza, bulgogi pizza
• Pasta: Toowoomba pasta, rosé pasta, tomato pasta
• Pork cutlet: Western-style loin cutlet (gyeongyangsik donkatsu), cheese cutlet
• Others: nostalgic soupy tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), kimchi fried rice, shrimp balls, spicy tenders, chicken karaage, sweet potato cheese sticks, Cajun sweet pumpkin salad, bonito udon stir-fry and more

They also sell highballs, beer and other drinks. Ordering pizza or chicken as bar snacks to go with them sounds like it'd be so good.

P&Chick turned out to be famous for its Chicago pizza too, and thanks to its good location it's a place Sinjungdong locals visit often.

How does the basil Caesar salad pizza (M) taste?

P&Chick's basil Caesar salad pizza (M) is loaded with Caesar salad and topped with ricotta cheese! That adds a lovely softness, and the dough is spread with basil sauce. The M size is just right for a woman eating alone, so it works as a one-person meal, and it was so good.

How spicy is the Toowoomba oven pasta?

P&Chick's Toowoomba oven pasta was only about as spicy as Jin Ramen Mild, so it wasn't spicy at all. It's an oven pasta topped with fresh arugula and cheese, made with house-made Toowoomba sauce, and it was tasty: plenty of sauce, smooth and thick.

I joined the Naver receipt review event and got shrimp fries and cheese balls, which were not greasy, crispy and delicious.

Is P&Chick good for kids and families?

P&Chick has a wide menu of things kids love, from pizza and pasta to pork cutlet and tteokbokki, so it's good for eating with children and family. The food was good enough that I'd happily go back.
