Late-night izakaya in Anyang: sukiyaki with udon for two at Baichan
Baichan is an izakaya-style bar in Anyang, Gyeonggi, a three-minute walk from Pyeongchon Station Exit 2 and up on the second floor by the central fountain of the restaurant alley. Two friends ordered the 28,000 won sukiyaki with a 3,000 won udon noodle add-on and beer, and the portion was so generous there was no room for another dish. With wide spacing between tables and service until 2am, Baichan works well as a second- or third-round stop.
