EMS body contouring in Pyeongtaek: Ira Diet waistline results
In short
Ira Diet is a body-contouring studio in Yongjuk-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi. After a lying InBody scan, heat treatment, an EMS suit, and focused abdominal care, my weight rose slightly but my waist went from 80 to 76. Verdict: it made me compare my overall condition and waistline, not just one number.

While looking into diet options in Pyeongtaek, I went to try a slightly different kind of body-contouring treatment haha. This time, I visited Ira Diet in Yongjuk-dong, Pyeongtaek.

Ira Diet visit information in Yongjuk-dong, Pyeongtaek
I occasionally get massages or skincare treatments, but this was my first time visiting somewhere that manages the whole body with EMS equipment, so it was genuinely fascinating 👀🌟 There were especially lots of machines I had never seen before, and the second I walked in, I thought, wow, this definitely feels different from an ordinary treatment shop. The other devices were top secret, so I couldn't photograph them lol. I thought I'd had quite a few treatments in my time, but they were all new to me...
I visited at 2 p.m. and came alone. Parking was available right beside the building, which was more convenient than I expected!

Checking the lying InBody scan and waistline first
When you enter, they first measure your height and weight, then check your InBody body-composition scan. But this was already fascinating from the start lol. I'd only ever had an InBody measurement standing up, but here they measure it while you're lying down.

They check your condition before the treatment, then measure your height, weight, and InBody again in exactly the same way once everything is finished, so you can compare before and after. I think people like me who enjoy checking things by the numbers would find it kind of fun lol.

Then I changed into a gown. The full treatment begins with you wearing only disposable underwear and the gown. They focused on my abdomen, and first measured my waistline too.

Rather than checking only my weight, they also looked at my waistline and InBody scan, so it felt like a more systematic treatment. First came a treatment to raise my body temperature.

Dome heat treatment and TV time to relax
When I got inside the dome, at first it was just pleasantly warm~ but as time passed, I started sweating like crazy lolllll. It begins with a cozy feeling, then my whole body gradually gets hot and the sweat starts pouring... I get hot really easily, so when my face got flushed too, the director immediately put a cooling patch on my forehead.

I got so disheveled that I fixed up my hair and took this photo lolllllllll. I liked that they kept checking even these small things haha. And while I was in the dome, they turned on whatever TV program I wanted lol. I watched Running Man.
Watching TV made the time fly compared with just lying there blankly. It felt a bit like relaxing in a heated room, so it was less boring than I expected. Since I was sweating so much, they brought me water throughout, and it was alkaline water.

They kept an eye on my hydration too, so I drank water little by little throughout the treatment. They said electricity needs to flow well through the EMS suit, so it was damp and wet lol. The feeling when I first put it on was really unusual lolllll.

What the EMS suit felt like
Once they fitted this snugly onto my body and started the EMS... at first I seriously wondered, am I being electrocuted right now? lolllll
It wasn't painful exactly; it felt like little electric tingles constantly running through my body, but my muscles were moving so much completely against my will. They could finely adjust the intensity by area, like the arms, abdomen, and thighs.

The director stayed beside me the whole time, continually checking whether each area was okay and whether she could raise the intensity here, then adjusting it, so even as a first-timer I could receive it more comfortably than expected. Anyone looking for EMS treatment in Pyeongtaek would probably be curious about this feeling at least once lol. Describing it, it's tingly, but when you actually get it, you're like, ah, this is what it feels like. Afterward, there was another body-warming treatment, followed by focused abdominal care with EMS pads attached.

They said filming this part was difficult because it is the studio's own treatment know-how. Apparently competitors copy it often, so it's top secret lol. If you're curious, you'll have to experience it yourself 🤗🤗 For anyone looking for diet-focused abdominal care in Pyeongtaek, I think it would feel quite different that, rather than simply working by hand, they use machines like this to intensely stimulate the abdomen.
Why my weight went up but my waistline went down
After the whole treatment was over, they checked my weight and InBody again. This was the part I found most fascinating: I sweated a ton during the treatment and even went to the restroom, you know? But my weight had actually gone up a little lol 🤣🤣🤣

I was genuinely like, huh...? Why did it go up...? and got flustered lol. The director explained that if your condition or fluid balance isn't good, your body may retain water instead, which can make swelling appear more severe. Of course, everyone's condition can differ, so I think it's best to take this simply as a reference!

But my waistline had gone down, which was truly fascinating. Before: 80, after: 76 lolllll. It made me realize that rather than looking at one weight number, it's important to compare your waistline, InBody results, body fat, and overall condition together. The director also showed me her before-and-after materials, which were pretty impressive.

When I first met her, I honestly thought she was in her mid-to-late thirties, so I was so surprised when I heard her real age lol. Seeing firsthand how your condition can change through consistent care made me think again about the importance of circulation and body contouring. There were also materials showing that even at the same weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, and body lines can make you look completely different.
This made me think, so I really don't need to stress over the number on the scale alone 🤣🤣 My weight didn't go down as I had expected this time either, but my waistline shrank and I felt noticeably lighter afterward, so I was actually satisfied. At first, the EMS tingling startled me so much lol, but by the end I had adapted somewhat and my whole body felt refreshed. The EMS I do alone at home is static electricity.... This place is Pikachu's million volts.... lol.
For anyone curious about this kind of body contouring
- People who dislike exercise but want to try body contouring
- People concerned about their abdomen or swelling
- People looking for a slightly different body-contouring treatment in Pyeongtaek
Personally, it was more fun because it wasn't the kind of treatment I'd received at regular treatment shops, and I also liked that the director kept monitoring my condition and adjusting the intensity along the way. Most of all, I felt noticeably lighter when it was over, so I would personally visit again 👍❤️
