Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters (정지영커피로스터즈) is in the basement 1 food hall of Lotte Department Store Nowon, right opposite the food court cashier. It is only 85m from Exit 4 of Nowon Station, so it's easy to find.

I hadn't been to Lotte Department Store Nowon since its renovation, and a famous coffee spot from Suwon's Haenggung-dong had opened in the food hall?! I ran straight over to try this Nowon Lotte Department Store café while I browsed 💕

Signature menu and current promotions

The signature item at Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters is the coconut coffee. It's the patented flagship drink of Jeong Ji-young Coffee, and they say it has sold 1.1 million cups in total, which makes it the most famous.

For all of October, customers who used the basement 1 food court get a promotion on all drinks after showing a receipt or payment record, so keep that in mind (20% off).

I spotted cold brew in the refrigerated display case, and there's also a deal: buy 2, get 1 extra free.

The Nowon menu is split into coffee, non-coffee and hand-drip coffee, and you can pick from three kinds of beans: dark, medium and decaf. Pregnant guests can switch to decaf for free, they say.

How did the coconut coffee and iced Americano taste?

I ordered the coconut coffee for ₩7,000 and an iced Americano for ₩5,500 at Jeong Ji-young Coffee Roasters Nowon. The coconut coffee was rich and nutty, and the dark roast iced Americano was bold with no acidity.

Signature coconut coffee

They told me to mix the coconut coffee well before drinking, and wow, the coconut flavor is strong and nutty, and like a true signature coffee it's so addictive that it just kept going down, haha. A coffee that has sold over 1.1 million cups really is different 💕

Dark roast iced Americano

I went with the default dark roast beans for the iced Americano, and it was super bold with no acidity!! It would be even better with a dessert than on its own 😊😊
