I visited Doasis, a large Yangju café famous for being converted from an old bathhouse, and overall I was really satisfied, so let me tell you all about it in detail!

Doasis in Yangju: location, hours and parking
- 📍Location: 25-5 Hwahap-ro1402beon-gil, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, 2nd & 3rd floors
- ⏰Hours: 10:00–23:00 (daily), only the 2nd floor operates after 21:00
- 🚘Parking: available ⭕️
The parking lot for Doasis, this large Yangju café, is right in front of the café, so parking is easy!
Inside the converted bathhouse: what the 2nd and 3rd floors feel like
Walking into the café, the 1st floor is run as a clothing store, and the 2nd and 3rd floors are set up as the café space!
If you're visiting with a dog, you can head straight up to the 4th floor!
Going up to the 2nd floor, the first thing that catches your eye is the spacious layout haha
Unlike a typical large café where it's just tables packed in everywhere, plants were placed all around, so the space itself felt a bit special.

What made it even more unique is that this café was converted from a bathhouse! The space that used to be a bathhouse has been decorated as a café, and it has an atmosphere hard to find in other cafés, so it was fun just to look around.
With plants scattered everywhere, it felt like being in a botanical garden even indoors, and with so much green, the overall vibe was relaxing rather than stuffy!

Tiered stair seating and group tables: how varied is the seating at Doasis?
The seating was also quite varied! Besides regular table seats, there was stair-style seating and group seating too haha

The stair seating in particular had a totally different vibe from a regular table, so it seemed great for anyone who wants to sit somewhere a bit different at a café.
There's seating on the 3rd floor too, so if you don't like the 2nd floor, you can head up and find a spot there!

Each floor has its own space that's fun to explore, so it's more of a large café to slowly look around and linger at rather than just grab a coffee and leave haha

And looking around Doasis, it seemed like a great spot for families too!
There's a nursing room and seats that are good for sitting with kids, so it's convenient to use.
The Doasis menu, from drinks to brunch

The menu at Doasis, this large Yangju café, has a wide variety of coffee, ade, smoothies and more, so it's easy to pick something to your taste!

Doasis also has a wide range of bakery and brunch items besides drinks, so it's great for enjoying a proper meal rather than just stopping by for a quick coffee!

There were also several kinds of bakery items like mont blanc, garlic bread, and cookies, so you could pick according to your taste haha

From sweet breads to nutty ones to plain ones, the variety was great for picking several and sharing!

There's also a good range of brunch items like pasta and pizza, so it seemed like a great place to drop by at lunchtime and handle both a meal and coffee at once haha
Strawberry latte, café latte and vanilla latte: how did they taste?

For drinks, we picked strawberry latte, café latte, and vanilla latte, and for bread, we picked mont blanc, walnut black sesame, garlic baguette, and cream cheese bread!

The strawberry latte is a drink with no coffee in it, so it's great for anyone who likes sweet drinks haha
It had a sweet strawberry flavor that paired well with the bakery items too!
The café latte is a basic latte where smooth milk and coffee come together, so it was a solid, easy pick!
I tend to go for lattes often when I'm at a café, and this was a good choice for when you want something smooth rather than strong coffee!

The vanilla latte was sweeter than a regular café latte, so it was nice to drink almost like a dessert haha

Mont blanc, garlic baguette, cream cheese bread and walnut black sesame bread
The mont blanc is a layered pastry, so it went well with coffee!

It was a subtly sweet bread that paired nicely with smooth lattes like the café latte or vanilla latte.
The garlic baguette was a bread with a good sweet-and-garlicky flavor!
It had that distinct baguette texture, giving a different feel from the softer bakery items, and it's worth picking if you like garlic bread haha
The cream cheese bread had cream cheese inside, so it wasn't plain even eaten alone, and it paired well with coffee!

The walnut black sesame bread, true to its name, had the nutty flavor of walnuts and black sesame haha

Eating only sweet breads can get a bit much, but picking a nutty one alongside made for a great combination!
