Songnim Bok Jangeo Ansan City Hall Direct Store is on the 2nd floor, Units 201-202, of the building at 33 Dangok-ro. I walked into the building, took the escalator up, and went diagonally right — it was right there.

The building itself was so clean, and it's not just freshwater eel — it's ✨all-you-can-eat freshwater eel, pork belly, and chicken neck✨. Takeout and lunch are both possible too 🙌

What is Songnim Bok Jangeo like at 6:30pm?

The inside of Songnim Bok Jangeo Ansan City Hall Direct Store was comfortable. I showed up right at dinner time, 6:30pm, and one or two more groups came in after me until the place was full 👀 (couldn't get a photo of that, sorry.)

Couples came in, there were company dinner groups, young couples, groups of women friends — all kinds!!

Each table already had the basics set — small plates, paper cups, scissors, tongs 👍

The self-serve corner at Songnim Bok Jangeo was so clean I had to wonder — is this really an all-you-can-eat place? Every time I went for a refill, everything was neatly restocked 👍

Take only what you'll eat! Honestly, this was on a whole different level from other eel/meat all-you-can-eat places I've been to. I wasn't expecting much quality from an all-you-can-eat place, but the eel meat was plump and firm 👍👍

Besides the side dishes they set out, there were also peppers, garlic, wrap lettuce, and salt. You can grab extras to suit your taste ➿
