Sundaeguk & pork soup for dinner with my sister, Pyeongtaek
Old Gyeongseong Sundaeguk Pyeongtaek Jije Dongsak Branch is a sundaeguk (blood sausage soup) and pork bone soup restaurant near Pyeongtaek Jije Station in Gyeonggi. On a second visit, the writer and her sister each ordered a bowl of sundaeguk and pork soup, added perilla seed powder twice, and went back for the self-bar kkakdugi (radish kimchi) twice more. Rich broth, clean-tasting head meat, and a spacious lot behind the store made it a can't-fail weekday dinner.
