Osan hanjeongsik with stone-pot rice and cheonggukjang stew: Bomseol
In short
Bomseol Main Branch is a hanjeongsik (Korean set-meal course) restaurant on Oesammi-ro in Osan, Gyeonggi. The Bomseol Rice Table for two, 36,000 won, came with stone-pot rice, cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew) simmered on a tabletop burner, braised codfish and stir-fried pork, plus unlimited yeolmu (young radish) barley bibimbap from the self-serve corner on the 1st floor. With parking for more than 100 cars, group seating on the 2nd floor, private rooms on the 3rd floor and a counter selling sesame oil and dried yellow croaker gift sets, Bomseol Main Branch works well for a group meal.

Bomseol is a well-known hanjeongsik restaurant with a huge lot that fits over 100 cars. It's great for family meals, but also works for gatherings with friends, company dinners, or private banquet halls. The set meals here come generous and delicious.

Group seating on the 2nd floor, private rooms on the 3rd
✔️ 2nd floor: group seating only This is the 2nd floor, big enough for group reservations, private events, and even first-birthday (dol) parties.
✔️ 3rd floor private rooms There are private rooms here for smaller reservations. For groups of 50 or more, you'll need to contact them separately.

What comes with the 36,000-won Bomseol Rice Table for two
- Today's order - Bomseol Rice Table x 2, ₩36,000

🍚 The stone-pot rice is made fresh to order, so it takes about 15–20 minutes.

The Bomseol Rice Table came absolutely loaded — side dishes, rice, cheonggukjang, braised codfish, stir-fried pork, japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), salad, fried eggplant, and wrap greens. Everything looked so neatly arranged and delicious I couldn't decide what to eat first haha.

With healthy side dishes said to be made fresh every morning, freshly cooked stone-pot rice, and hearty cheonggukjang, this Osan hanjeongsik meal warmed me right up.

Burner cheonggukjang, braised codfish and stir-fried pork
The cheonggukjang, boiled once more to a bubble on the burner, was so rich and savory that it was delicious even eaten plain with rice. The braised codfish was sweet, spicy, and salty all at once. It comes out as a whole fish — the meat chewy yet clean-tasting, and the spicy sauce paired so well with rice that I couldn't stop eating. I really recommend the braised codfish. Definitely try it 👍🏻
Stir-fried pork, one of Korea's soul foods, was also on the table. Made with a specially aged marinade and a nice charred flavor, the pork was soft and juicy, and the sauce wasn't too strong — good eaten with rice or wrapped in lettuce.
They offer 2 hours of free parking (self-registration), and Bomseol makes sure to look after dessert too.

I'd recommend Bomseol to anyone looking for a hearty, neatly presented hanjeongsik meal with a full spread of varied side dishes.
