Pocheon Gomori family café with potato salt bread: Geurine Oasis
In short
Geurine Oasis is a lake-view bakery café facing the Gomori Lake Park walking trail in Soheul-eup, Pocheon, Gyeonggi. After a family meal out, the writer took a table in the annex for potato salt bread (6,200 won), a mozzarella bagel with homemade cream cheese (7,200 won) and mini tissue bread (6,500 won) with coffee, then walked the dog run and the rooftop. Dogs are barred from the main building but welcome in the annex and outdoor zone, which made Geurine Oasis an easy last stop on a Pocheon trip.

We had a family meal out in Pocheon and stopped by a café with great atmosphere afterward.
Today I'll introduce Geurine Oasis, a café near the Pocheon Gwangneung Arboretum area where you can relax while looking out at green scenery and the Gomori Reservoir view.
Where is Geurine Oasis, and where do you park?
Geurine Oasis is at 442 Jugyeopsan-ro, 1st floor, Sohheul-eup, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, open 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM — a reservoir-view café in Pocheon with parking available.

Gomori Lake Park in Pocheon is famous as a drive course, and it's packed with good restaurants. A pretty European-style building right in front of the reservoir walking trail caught my eye — this was Geurine Oasis, the café we visited this time.
Geurine Oasis runs a main building and an annex, with parking for about 25 cars in front of and beside the building. If it's full, you can park for free at the Gomori Lake Park public lot, a 1–2 minute walk away.

The green entrance on the left is the main building — that's where you order!

The main building bakery counter and kiosk ordering
We went into the main building first to order. The bright, sunlit interior felt cozy, and there were plenty of tables.

As soon as you walk in, the smell of fresh bread pulls you straight to the bakery case first, haha.😄

The display case had all kinds of slice cakes.

There were also breads made in-house, and they all looked delicious.

You order at the kiosk! Just so you know, the two kiosks on the left are for ordering, and on the right there's a separate pet-only kiosk, fitting for a dog-friendly café.

The menu has a wide drink lineup — Americano, café latte, hazelnut latte, vanilla bean latte, signature/condensed-milk salt-bread-style espresso, milk tea, matcha latte, strawberry-syrup latte, black sesame latte, plus premium teas and ades.
You can also book a fire-gazing experience unique to Geurine Oasis, perfect for a special time with a partner or family. (Fire-gazing ticket: ₩9,900)

Dogs go in the annex and outdoor zone at Geurine Oasis
Pet-friendly Geurine Oasis has a dog run in the outdoor zone, which was a system I'd never seen before and found really interesting.

After ordering, we looked around the annex. It also had great natural light and a cozy vibe, so it was comfortable to use. This annex and the outdoor zone allow dogs, while the main building does not — worth keeping in mind if you visit.

We settled into the annex and relaxed with the bread and coffee we ordered.
Further inside the annex there's also a space that looks great for quiet reading or working on a laptop.
The tables on the outdoor terrace get lit up in the evening, which adds a nice atmosphere.

Potato salt bread, mozzarella bagel and mini tissue bread
Even though we'd already eaten, the bread smelled so good that we ordered several things. The dessert bakery here was top-tier in both taste and looks.

Our coffee came in an eco-friendly reusable cup, made from a material safe enough for baby bottles that can handle hot water up to 120°C. The recyclable cup can be used for dine-in or takeout, and I'm still using mine at home now.😊
The signature salt bread (₩4,800) and potato salt bread (₩6,200).

The salt bread had potato inside — savory and soft, and it went really well with coffee.

The mozzarella bagel with homemade cream cheese (₩7,200) and mini tissue bread (₩6,500).
A bagel topped with mozzarella cheese paired with cream cheese?! The chewy, plain bagel with thick, savory cream cheese felt like a premium bakery item all on its own. The cute little mini tissue bread looked just like its name — layers stacked like tissue paper — but inside it was moist and soft with a pastry-like texture, which matched coffee perfectly. Every single bread tasted as good as something from a specialty bakery.

The dog run and the Gomori Lake view out back
After spending time drinking coffee indoors, we went out to check out the outdoor zone. The outdoor view was absolutely full of mood!
This is the dog run. Dogs can run around inside while you watch from the table right next to it — probably the best dog-friendly café setup in Pocheon.
The backyard opens up to an exotic-feeling view where you can enjoy the cool breeze and scenery of Gomori Lake Park, which is why so many people were sitting outside once afternoon rolled around.

What you see from the Geurine Oasis rooftop
Climb the stairs up to the rooftop and there are tables there too. It was too hot to use them this time, but I imagine it has a completely different charm once the weather cools down.
The view of Geurine Oasis from the rooftop — the Gomori Reservoir and green scenery blending together behind the café is absolutely stunning.

With the lake right in front of the café, we could relax over tea and dessert and it was also great for a walk. If you're looking for a café with a good atmosphere at Pocheon's Gomori Lake Park, I recommend Geurine Oasis.
