Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch is in the 8th-floor food court of Lotte Department Store, 1393 Jungang-daero, Dongnae-gu, Busan. It's 199 m from Exit 5 of Myeongnyun Station, so it's easy to reach by subway too.

I'd been craving sushi lately and searched around a lot, then ended up at Moshi Moshi Sushi, a well-known spot in Dongnae's Lotte Department Store near Myeongnyun Station.

Moshi Moshi at Lotte Department Store Dongnae is known for high-quality sushi, and the menu and set combinations are solid too, so I went with high expectations.

I liked that there's a menu board at the entrance where you can see everything at a glance.

How is the hygiene at Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae?

Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae has received the "Excellent" restaurant hygiene grade from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, which was reassuring on the hygiene side.

The kitchen is open, so you can see how cleanly the place is run, which I liked.

Do you need a reservation for weekend lunch?

I visited Moshi Moshi Sushi at Lotte Dongnae at 1 pm on a weekend and it was completely full. Naver Reservation is available, so I'd recommend booking before you go on weekends.

Since I had a reservation, our table was already set up for us, haha

A sushi place that even prints the expiry date on the soy sauce is rare! If you join the Naver receipt review event, you get 2 pieces of shrimp sushi, so keep that in mind.

How to order at Moshi Moshi Sushi and what's in Set D

At Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae you order on the kiosk at each table and pay at the counter after your meal. There are so many menu combinations that I agonized over what to get, and finally went with Assorted Sushi Set D. I totally recommend this one,, 👍🏻

I ordered two Set D, and the moment I saw them I could tell the fish at Moshi Moshi Sushi is really good quality, haha

With 12 pieces of sushi plus tempura, udon, vegetable salad and tofu salad, the portion is generous too. I wondered if I could finish it all, but it was so delicious that I ate everything, lol

What sushi comes in Set D?

Set D even has sushi that's hard to find at ordinary sushi places, like crab miso (crab innards), beef tartare and abalone..! Look at how gorgeous this sushi looks,, (total bias here)

At Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Dongnae the fish slices are really thick, and the rice is not too much, just the right amount.

The best sushi was the beef tartare sushi

Beef tartare, tuna, marinated crab, eel, salmon,,,, I'd love to recommend the very best one, but everything was so good it's hard to pick, lol. The beef tartare sushi especially was the first I'd ever seen, and it was really, really delicious.

The live fish was good too, and I was so happy that the tuna came as 2 pieces.

How were the 3 pieces of tempura and the mini udon?

The squid, sweet pumpkin and sweet potato tempura in Set D came freshly fried, hot and crispy, and so delicious.

The "mini" udon is not mini at all, the portion is as big as regular udon, lol
