Pepite's interior: dim lighting, bar and table seats

Step inside Pepite and you're warmly greeted by an interior with a calm yet refined tone and manner.

It isn't flashy for the sake of being flashy. Soft lighting and tasteful props come together into a cozy, elegant atmosphere, and choosing Pepite as a special Gangnam date spot with someone you love was truly the best decision!

The space feels cozy rather than stuffy, and I thought it couldn't be better as a place to meet dear friends or as a successful Gangnam date spot.
What's on Pepite's menu?

Looking at Pepite's menu, there's a varied and upscale lineup: red shrimp risotto, white ragu pasta, cod steak, a seafood platter and more. With an original lineup that crosses the line between classic French and Japanese cooking, the choice is very wide! There's also a well-organized list of wines by the glass and drink pairings to go with the dishes.

What we ordered today at Pepite in Cheongdam were the red shrimp risotto and the white ragu pasta!
Pepite red shrimp risotto (₩26,000): how does it taste?

As each dish was set down, the neat plating and lovely aroma made my eyes happy before I even took a bite 💛

The moment I took my first bite of Pepite's red shrimp risotto, I could see why Pepite is rising as an Apgujeong favorite.

You get the aroma and texture of fresh, plump red shrimp, and the flavor wraps softly around your mouth with superb savoriness (umami). It was exactly the quality you'd expect from an Apgujeong favorite.
Pepite white ragu pasta (₩30,000): is it too rich?

Next, the white ragu pasta at Pepite had the deep, rich taste of a meat sauce, yet it wasn't heavy at all, and the nutty creaminess struck a perfect balance!

Maybe thanks to a cooking method clearly different from typical Western restaurants, the doneness of the noodles and the way they came together with the sauce were fantastic.
It's a different league from the ordinary dishes I've had elsewhere, so it made total sense why people come to Pepite on special days for Apgujeong Rodeo Western dining 👍🏻 I kept marveling the whole meal, felt the strength of an Apgujeong favorite once again, and found myself wanting to come back to Pepite in Cheongdam for another dinner course and wine 🫢
