Pohang Italian restaurant by Songdo Beach: shrimp aglio olio, Plan A

Plan A Restaurant is an ocean-view Italian restaurant on the 4th floor of a building right in front of Songdo Beach in Pohang. On a late lunch visit after 2pm, the writer sat at a corner table with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides and ordered chicken salad, shrimp aglio olio, mushroom basil risotto and chop steak. The portions looked like too much, but every plate came back empty, making Plan A Restaurant a solid pick for a date or a meal on a Pohang trip.

Korean restaurant near Jeju Airport to treat parents: Hwadeogeuro Gan

Hwadeogeuro Gan Godeungeo Bansang Jeju Iho Tewoo Branch is an ocean-view Korean restaurant on the Iho Tewoo coastal road near Jeju Airport. For a last meal on Jeju with their parents, the writer ordered the grilled mackerel set and the spicy pork stir-fry set, and used the self-serve banchan bar with its fried-egg station, where rice is unlimited after the first bowl. The wood-fired mackerel came out lean and clean-tasting, and the window seat facing the sea was the best part.

Theme Park Toon is an indoor theme park on Eunsu-gil in Jeju City, near Hallasoo Arboretum and Jeju Airport, built on the idea of a webtoon world turned real. Detroit Cowboy pizza and onion rings in Ara-dong, Jeju: Dough Rider

Dough Rider Pizza is a Wild West-themed pizza restaurant in a residential part of Ara-dong, Jeju City. The Cowboy Detroit pizza is a square pan pizza cooked to order, and its rich beef flavor plus the fried-and-cheese combo of the onion rings tasted much like pizza in the US. Portions are large, so the Detroit pizza suits a group of three better than two.
