Where did I try the oil-film remover I bought for my car?

As a taxi driver, I picked up AutoGrooming Clean View oil-film remover to maintain my car windows ahead of the rainy season. Before using it on the car, I wondered whether it would work on bathroom water stains too, so I cleaned the shower booth, shaving mirror, and faucet first.

What were the packaging and included contents like?

The delivery box was a reasonable size and light in weight.

The mint-colored packaging caught my eye.

Inside the package were 120 g of oil-film remover and one work towel.

Were the directions on the product complicated?

The directions on the back were simple. The steps were to remove dirt from the glass surface, spray on the oil-film remover, rub in straight lines four to five times, and rinse with running water.

The included towel felt better quality than I expected. It was not an awkward size, either, and I thought it would be handy to keep in my car trunk and take out when needed. The main substances listed were aluminum oxide and purified water.

How much did the shower booth water stains change?

I tried it on the shower booth first. I do not normally pay close attention to cleaning water stains on the shower booth.

I sprayed the oil-film remover in straight lines and rubbed it lightly with the towel. It was not difficult to work with even without applying much force, and I rinsed it at the end with water from the shower.

After rinsing, it looked clean enough that even I could see the difference. I did not expect much because the process was so simple, but I was satisfied enough to wonder whether it had ever looked this clean since I moved in.

How did it work on an old shaving mirror?

I shave once a day. The shaving mirror I had used for several years had built up so much water stain residue that my reflection was not very clear anymore.

I sprayed the product onto the mirror in straight lines too, rubbed it with the work towel, and rinsed it with the shower. This time, I think I sprayed a little too much, which felt wasteful. I did not use much force while rubbing.

The difference felt clear compared with before cleaning. Since it was such a simple process, I wished I had tried it sooner.

How much product was left after cleaning the faucet, and what did I think?

Lastly, I sprayed the oil-film remover on the faucet and cleaned it. The faucet also looked much cleaner to me.

Even for someone like me who is not used to cleaning, the work itself was not difficult. Still, cleaning all three spots in a row made me sweat a lot. There was plenty of product left after using it on the shower booth, shaving mirror, and faucet.

I was satisfied with the results in the bathroom. I plan to try it on my car windshield and side mirrors too, but the only places I used it directly for this post were the three bathroom spots.
