Even when I ran the wipers on rainy days, the windshield stayed hazy, and it kept bothering me. I used AutoGrooming Clean View windshield oil-film remover to try maintaining the glass myself.
What was inconvenient about the windshield?
My view felt especially blurry and unsettling on rainy nights. Even after the rain stopped, it felt as if sticky grime remained on the glass, and thorough car washes made little difference. I kept noticing stains and water-drop marks in the center where the wipers passed.

When I rinsed it at the end, the water-drop marks and the way water ran down felt different from usual. Looking at the windshield from the driver's seat, it appeared clearer than before. This was my first time maintaining the glass myself, but I was pleased that the work felt manageable and I could see a change immediately after using it. I did not notice any particular downside during this use.
