In short
Bueokgan Haeundae Branch (부엌간 해운대점) is a Western restaurant on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, Busan, on the 2nd floor of a building with its own parking lot. The writer ordered the arugula prosciutto pizza and the kung pao chicken pilaf at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch and enjoyed both: a salty pizza piled high with arugula and a spicy pilaf topped with a whole chicken leg. Today I'm bringing you a review of Bueokgan Haeundae Branch (부엌간 해운대점), a Haeundae favorite on Dalmaji-gil.🍽️ You can get all kinds of Western dishes here, from pizza to pasta to pilaf, so I'd recommend it for a date in Haeundae or anyone looking for a restaurant with a nice atmosphere!
Where is Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, and how is the parking?

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is on Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae, and the building has its own parking lot, so it's easy to get to by car. The building houses a bakery, restaurants and other spaces, which makes visiting fun too. Since there's a separate parking lot, it seems most people come by car.

The 1st floor is Bueokgan Chinese, and the Western restaurant, Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, is up on the 2nd floor.

Interior and seating at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch
The interior is warm yet stylish, great for a meal with friends and a good fit for a date. The tables are nicely spaced too, so it was comfortable to eat there.

Is it okay to bring kids?
The window side of Bueokgan Haeundae Branch gets lots of natural light, and there are baby chairs. Maybe that's why I saw so many families with children.

Each area has a different mood, which I found unusual, and the chairs and tables are roomy, so there were quite a few big groups too.
Menu at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch
The menu runs from set menus to pizza, pasta, pilaf and steak. With appetizers like salad and soup all the way up to steak, you can enjoy Western dishes however you like. I ordered the arugula prosciutto pizza and the kung pao chicken pilaf.
How is the arugula prosciutto pizza?

The first dish I ordered was the prosciutto pizza! It has prosciutto's distinctive salty flavor, so it has a different charm from an ordinary topping pizza.

Pizza goes well with other dishes and is great to share when you come with several people, so it's one of those things I always end up ordering at a Western restaurant. It's piled with arugula, so it had a brunch feel and was nice to enjoy lightly alongside other dishes. If you like pizza or want a slightly different style, it's worth a look.🍕

What does the kung pao chicken pilaf taste like?
The kung pao chicken pilaf at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch pairs chicken and rice in a sweet-and-spicy kung pao style. I ordered it as a hearty rice dish to go with the pizza.

A big chicken leg sits on top whole, and it looked so appetizing. The fried rice is a spicy soy sauce fried rice with a slight Chinese-restaurant touch.

The well-fried rice and the tender chicken leg went together so well. It's slightly spicy, so it isn't greasy at all, and I totally recommend it.👍

Is the portion big enough?
The kung pao chicken pilaf didn't look like a big portion, but as I ate I got full, so it was more generous than I expected. I think it would be nice to order several dishes and share with friends or family.
Overall verdict and booking tip
This time I tried the prosciutto pizza and the kung pao chicken pilaf at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch and was very satisfied. The restaurant itself is clean with a great atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. Maybe because the menu is so varied, there were quite a few family groups, and lots of reserved seats too.

If you want a window seat with a pretty view, I'd book ahead. I'd recommend it when you're looking for a place with a nice atmosphere on Dalmaji-gil, or want Western food with friends or a partner. The menu is so wide that I'd like to try other pizzas and pastas next time. If you're searching for a Haeundae restaurant or a Dalmaji-gil date course, take a look at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch too.❣️
