I tried The Day Tunteun Kids Cal-Mag-D Plus K2 with my child after 30 months of age. The product was provided to me, and I focused on its ingredient combination, how easy it was to keep on hand, and how my child responded to the flavor.

What ingredient combination made me choose it?
I chose it after seeing that each sachet contains calcium, magnesium, vitamin D3, and vitamin K2. I liked that this combination could reduce the hassle of keeping several products separately.

I also looked at the explanation that calcium and magnesium are blended at a 2:1 ratio. This ratio was information I used as a reference when choosing the product.

I was already giving my child vitamin D separately, so I also checked whether vitamin D was included. Since this product contains vitamin D3 as well, the process of keeping up with it felt simpler.

The inclusion of vitamin K2 was another part of the formulation that I liked when making my choice.

What did I check about the ingredients?
Because it was a product for my child, I also looked over the ingredient information. The notice that it does not use Japanese or Chinese ingredients and discloses the origin of every ingredient influenced my choice. I also checked the statement that it is free of five ingredients, including casein and magnesium stearate.

Were the individual sachets easy to keep on hand?
They were individually packaged one sachet at a time, so they were easy to keep on hand. They were also easy to toss into a bag when going out or traveling.

The easy-cut packaging was simple to tear open by hand. The powder had a strawberry scent.

How did my child respond to the strawberry flavor?
When I tasted it first, it felt like a mild, refreshing strawberry flavor rather than an artificially sweet one.

My child tends to be sensitive to new foods, so I was worried at first. But after touching a little to the tip of their tongue, their expression brightened, and they ate it well without resistance afterward.

As I kept giving it in the morning, my child started asking first, “Strawberry, please!”

Before, I had to spend quite a while persuading my child to take supplements, but once they started asking for it on their own, my stress went down too. The strawberry flavor also tasted fine when mixed with a little water.

The part I was happiest with after trying it was that my child did not reject the flavor. Being able to keep it on hand easily in individual sachets was convenient for me too.
