Where is Yangnam Yanghwa and what are the hours?

Yangnam Yanghwa is 529 m from Exit 3 of Mullae Station, between Yangpyeong Station, Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station and Mullae Station! It's open daily 12:00–24:00, with last order at 23:30.

If you like highballs, you absolutely have to do this event!! These days a highball is ₩8,000 or more, right? It'd be a shame to skip it.

What are the interior and seats like?

Both outside and inside are wood-toned, so it feels warm but also upscale. The layout is a bit unusual: the seats are counter-style (dacchi, bar-type seating) circling the center~ It felt like being on a trip in Japan haha. There are dividers too, so it felt a bit more private! The atmosphere is classy, so it looked good for dates, anniversaries, family meals and even business meetings haha.

Here's a snap of the way to the restroom too..! Even the walk to the restroom is pretty... I thought it was a photo zone, not a restroom lol. Men's and women's are clearly separated, so restroom: pass!! 👍🏻

Premium Lamb Dining price and what's included

The Premium Lamb Dining course is ₩38,900 for adults and ₩22,900 for children under 12. Lamb ribs, T-bone steak, and grilled vegetables and fruit are all unlimited, and a final dessert is included. Side menu items are garlic rice, seafood ramyeon and bibim noodles. With unlimited lamb, they seemed perfect for when it starts to feel a bit heavy haha. Corkage is also allowed, ₩20,000 per bottle!

This is the setup you get when you sit down. Plus two glasses of lemon liquor as a welcome drink haha.

Starting with a refreshing drink put me in a great mood. It's not very strong, around 3% I'd say, light and easy to drink like a lemon beverage haha.

Does staff grill the meat over charcoal?

Yes, at Yangnam Yanghwa there's a charcoal fire in front of you, and the staff grill the meat from start to finish haha. It felt like being treated like a VIP, which I loved. The first round was T-bone steak and lamb shoulder. It looked incredibly fresh at first glance.

Watching the fat drip and the Maillard reaction happen right in front of me, it looked so so delicious!! They asked how I wanted it cooked and explained each cut carefully, which I liked. The ventilation is also really good, so there was no meat smell at all haha.

First, a bite of grilled T-bone with salt dip haha. It melted in my mouth.. I really like lamb, and the lamb aroma was great, and the fatty part (?) on the bottom, like pork belly, was sooo rich and delicious.

They kept putting freshly grilled pieces on my small plate, and I munched away like a baby bird.

So juicy, and looking at the photo makes me want it again 😭

Lamb goes well with wasabi, just like beef?! It was my first time seeing a lamb place serve wasabi and pickled radish wraps (ssambu), and it worked.

Garlic rice, wrapped with meat and seaweed

I wanted rice midway, so I ordered Yangnam Yanghwa's garlic rice! Fluffy and tasty, this is a total winner. I wrapped it with meat and seaweed, and the carbs-protein-fat balance was crazy. I cleaned the whole bowl haha. It's cheap too, so I recommend it ❤️

You all know how good the meat clinging to the bone is, right?? It just kept going into my mouth~ haha. When you grill it yourself the flow can get interrupted, but here the staff watched how fast I was eating and adjusted the grilling accordingly haha. They were so so kind.

Lemon highball to cleanse the palate

A highball too~~ I had the lemon highball, which cleansed my palate completely and was cool and tasty. Yangnam Yanghwa seems like a highball hotspot haha. Next time I'll try the Yeontai highball.

Grilled vegetables and fruit are unlimited too

Eggplant, mushrooms, green onion and onion are unlimited too! You can also get only the ones you want haha. Maybe it's because I love eggplant, but the grilled eggplant 👍🏻🤤

Three rounds of just T-bone

Actually, this is the third round of meat lol. The T-bone was so good that I kept ordering T-bone haha. Even while eating, I thought the value was amazing.

Palate cleanser round 2, so I could eat more meat: bibim noodles (spicy cold mixed noodles)! It tastes exactly like Paldo Bibim Myeon haha. They even add ice, so the noodles were chewy and bouncy. Sweet and tangy, it cleansed my palate so I could go for the next round of meat lol.

Grilled fruit is unlimited too~!! This grilled pineapple was really good lol. Maybe because it gets sweeter when grilled haha.

Finishing with seafood ramyeon and sherbet ice cream

What's the Korean way to finish? Ramyeon~~ Yangnam Yanghwa's seafood ramyeon is spicy and tasty. It had crab, clam meat and squid in it~ Not very spicy, about like Ansung Tangmyeon?? A clean finish haha.

The real finale, ice cream dessert~~ Cool, refreshing sherbet haha. It tasted kind of like mango!

Is Yangnam Yanghwa good for a company dinner?

If you're looking for a lamb place near Yangpyeong Station, Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station or Mullae Station, I recommend Yangnam Yanghwa haha. It's all-you-can-eat so the value feels great, and from the atmosphere to the kindness, it was the best 👍🏻 My companion works nearby lol and says they'll push for a company dinner here next time haha. Satisfied!
