Suwon Station coffee shop: café mocha and dark chocolate cake, Tteum

I was looking for a café with a nice atmosphere near Suwon Station and ended up at Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station! It's a place near the station where you can enjoy great coffee and desserts too, haha.

Location and hours of Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station

Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station is at 10 Sehwa-ro 154beon-gil, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, South Korea (1st floor), about a 5-minute walk from Suwon Station Exit 3. It's open every day from 10:00 to 20:00.

It's close to Suwon Station, so access was easy too. It's within walking distance, so it works as a meeting spot, or as a place to drop in lightly after shopping or a meal!! Walk out from the Suwon Station transfer center toward KCC Mall and you'll find it on the first floor of the Fraunt officetel.

Can you smell the beans before you choose?

Yes! At Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station, you can smell the beans yourself and pick the coffee beans. It was the first thing that caught my eye when I walked in~! Usually you order coffee just from a menu board, but here you smell the beans first and choose to your taste, which felt extra special.

The bean selection is wide, so it's worth a look if you really love coffee. It's a premium coffee café where you can have hand-drip and brewing coffee!! You can try specialty beans like Luwak and Geisha, and Theme's own Kyoto and Milano blends.

There were lots of cakes too! The dark chocolate one on the far left caught my eye, so I ordered that as well, haha.

Seating and atmosphere at Tteum Café Suwon Station

With roomy seating and a moody atmosphere, I'd also recommend it if you're looking for a big café in Suwon!!

Under soft lighting and relaxing music, you can enjoy brewing coffee, signature espresso, and pretty desserts and food, haha.

Each bean has a different aroma and flavor, so there's fun in agonizing over which coffee to drink, haha. If you usually love coffee, you'll like this café even more!! You can compare each bean's character, from a subtle scent to a deep, strong one, and that raised my expectations for the coffee.

Is the dark chocolate cake very sweet?

Tteum's dark chocolate cake was full of rich chocolate flavor but not too sweet! Haha.

Just as the name says, it had that deep, strong dark chocolate taste. It isn't too sweet, so it goes well with coffee, and it's so soft that I think it's the best chocolate cake I've ever had. I'd order it again next time I visit!!

How was the café mocha?

The café mocha wasn't overly sweet, which made it even more satisfying. The sweetness and bitterness were well balanced, so it's good with dessert too. Really tasty~><

The iced Milano Americano comes with a separate ice cup

The iced Americano made with the Milano blend was clean yet had a rich aroma that left an impression!! The ice cup and the Americano are prepared separately, so you pour it yourself and drink.

Besides the special experience of smelling the beans and choosing, both the coffee and the dessert satisfied me!! I highly recommend this café near Suwon Station, Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station, not only to coffee lovers but also to anyone who wants to relax over a sweet dessert, haha.
