Lash salon in Hongdae: keratin lash lift with eye patches, Lashkimi

I'm a lash lift nomad, but I'm finally ready to settle down🤩 Here's my review of Lashkimi, a Hongik Univ. lash spot I really like.

Where is Lashkimi?

Lashkimi is a 1-minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station, in the LG Palace Building, B1 Room 112, Yanghwa-ro 156, Mapo-gu, Seoul. When you come out of Exit 9, there's a Burger King right next to it, and the salon is in the basement of that building.

Lashkimi is station-adjacent to the max! It rained the day I visited, and being right by the exit made me so happy 😆

You go in through here, and since it's on the basement level, I recommend taking the stairs.

Lashkimi hours, booking and parking

Lashkimi is open every day from 11:00 to 22:00 and works by 1:1 appointment. Same-day bookings are possible, and you can book through Naver Booking or Instagram.

What is the inside of Lashkimi like?

The inside is cute and decorated with a resort-like charm. Slippers are ready right at the entrance, so just change into them and head in.

It's a cozy little space that's been decorated with a real resort feel~🏖️

There's a waiting area on one side, a spot for nails and pedicures, and beds for lash lifts and lash extensions. It isn't big, but the space is laid out efficiently, so I could be treated comfortably.

Is a Lashkimi lash lift safe for your lashes?

Even for the most basic hydrating lash lift, Lashkimi uses a keratin solution rather than a regular perm solution, so you can get it done without damaging your lashes. Not needing to add a separate lash clinic treatment was a big plus for me.

I get lash lifts fairly often, so I usually add a clinic treatment too, worried about damage. But paying for the clinic every time gets expensive. That's how I found Lashkimi near Hongik Univ.

Another plus at Lashkimi is that they use eye patches during the lash lift❣️ That's the thing I care about most.

I'm at the age where I worry about wrinkles around my eyes, so the taping step bothers me every time I get a lash lift, once every month or two🥲 I'm a lash lift nomad, and so far only 2 places have used eye patches. Lashkimi is one of them! I went without knowing, and they used eye patches, so I was personally so happy😘

The hydrating lash lift at Lashkimi started with a consultation and was done in about 30 minutes. They worked out the perm style I wanted, then recommended one to suit my eyes.

I was surprised that they set not just the curl but even the direction of the lashes in detail🫢 Truly a specialist lash lift shop near Hongik Univ. Station!

Before I left, they explained how the lash lift will relax over time, recommended a lash serum, and went through the aftercare precautions in detail! They even texted me the precautions on my way home, so thoughtful👍🏻

• A place where you can care for your lashes with less worry about damage, thanks to the basic hydrating lash lift with keratin solution
• Happy that the eye patches meant little discomfort during the treatment and minimal irritation around the eyes
• Right by Exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station, so access is really good and it's easy to visit
• 1:1 appointments make it feel like careful, tailored care from consultation to treatment
• Curl direction and design were set in detail, the lift looked natural, and I was very satisfied
