What is the inside of Lashkimi like?

Lashkimi shares its space with the nail shop Nail Harayu (네일하라유), so the nail area is by the entrance and Lashkimi's area is right next to it :) I asked the owner and she said the two of them are friends who run the space together, haha. There were no nail bookings the day I visited, so I got my treatment in an even quieter, more relaxed atmosphere!

Look at the inside, so cozy, right?! There's a waiting area, and even a photo zone with Maenggu (the cartoon character) staring at you!

How clean is Lashkimi's treatment space?

The white bedding in the Lashkimi treatment space was kept neat, and the pillow cover was swapped right after each treatment. I got my lash lift in this space next to the nail area! White bedding isn't easy to keep clean, but overall it felt really tidy. Seeing the pillow cover changed after every session especially made me think she takes hygiene seriously! This area is also decorated in lots of green, which made it feel even cozier and more relaxing!

Why a one-person lash salon works well

Another good thing about Lashkimi is that it's a one-person salon! It's not a factory-style place; the owner looks after each customer carefully one by one, which put me at ease and let me relax throughout the treatment.

Hydrating lash lift before and after: how much changed?

Before the lash lift

Before the treatment, my lashes were about a month and a half past my last lift, with only a few strands still curled up. Before starting, the Lashkimi owner recommended lashes suited to my eyes and talked through the design I wanted! I was torn on what to choose, ended up with the hydrating lash lift, and since I like a tight upward curl, I asked for exactly that~! Curious how it turned out?!

After the lash lift

Ta-da!! The Lashkimi hydrating lash lift was done in about 30 minutes. The last place I went took over an hour, so I was surprised at how fast this was. Maybe because the bed is comfy and the owner's hands are so skilled, I honestly almost fell asleep halfway through, hahaha. No irritation, no foreign-body feeling, and I was never uncomfortable the whole time 💛💛💛

Is the Lashkimi hydrating lash lift worth it?

I was really happy with Lashkimi, which was careful from the consultation through the treatment! I loved the quick treatment time, and it was comfortable with no irritation. If you're looking for a place that does a good lash lift in Hongdae, I recommend giving it a visit 💛
