Bucheon pork BBQ with pickled sides and sikhye: Dwaeji Gongbang
Dwaeji Gongbang Bucheon Okgil-dong Main Branch is a pork BBQ restaurant with its own aging fridge in Okgil-dong, Sosa-gu, Bucheon. The mixed half-platter at 49,000 won brought thick pork neck plus gabrisal, rib finger meat and chewy neck skin, eaten with hairtail jeotgal (salted fish sauce), white kimchi, pickled chili strips and pickled garlic scapes, and a sikhye (sweet rice punch) for 3,000 won, while any meat order comes with a free soft tofu stew. The pickled side dishes kept every bite fresh right to the end of the meal.
