Bustling Saturday night in front of Yeongpo in the Sinjungdong bar-and-eats alley

I heard there was a hot spot in Bucheon with a great vibe and delicious drinking snacks, so I went to check it out!! I visited on a Saturday night, and the street itself was packed with people — so lively and buzzing haha.

The spicy chicken feet paired with egg custard was such an amazing combo that I already want to come back! Here's my write-up of Yeongpo, a bar near Sinjungdong in Bucheon~~!!!

Where is Yeongpo, what are the hours, and is there parking?

Yeongpo is a Korean pub located at 1st floor, unit 107, 46 Jomaru-ro 291beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 18:00–06:00 (last order 05:00), and Friday–Saturday 18:00–08:00 (last order 07:00).

  • Name: Yeongpo
  • Location: 1st floor, unit 107, 46 Jomaru-ro 291beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
  • Pet-friendly, private bookings available, no corkage, no parking

Since it's in a bar-and-eats alley, there were a lot of cars parked along the nearby streets. It's better to use a public parking lot.

Outdoor patio (yajang) tables at Yeongpo

The inside of Yeongpo is decorated in a cute yet cozy style overall, making it a great spot to chat quietly with friends or a partner over drinks — and there's an outdoor patio (yajang) attached too!! The weather was cool so plenty of guests were using the patio seats. Ordering is done via kiosk, which is really convenient!!

What we ordered at Yeongpo: boneless chicken feet 23,000 won and egg custard 6,000 won

For this visit, I ordered Yeongpo's signature popular dishes!

Kkwabegi snack served as Yeongpo's basic side snack

The complimentary starter: kkwabegi snack

This is the first place I've seen serve this! Once you finish ordering, a crispy, sweet, nostalgic kkwabegi (twisted donut snack) comes out as the default starter — great for nibbling before the main dishes arrive.

Boneless chicken feet, 23,000 won: as spicy as buldak

Yeongpo's boneless chicken feet cost 23,000 won, and they're on the spicier side here (about buldak — fire chicken — level?!). I think it's as good as any dedicated chicken feet specialty restaurant!!!👍👍

Stir-fried in a sauce full of smoky char, the boneless chicken feet are easy to eat without bones and have an outstanding chewy texture. The spice is the kind that blows away all your stress🔥 It comes with two eggs too — eat those before diving into the chicken feet~~ It's served alongside a cool, spicy bean sprout soup that helps neutralize the heat👍

Yeongpo's egg custard puffed up over the rim of its stone pot

Egg custard, 6,000 won: a towering stone pot of gyeranjjim

Yeongpo's egg custard (gyeranjjim) costs 6,000 won, and it comes in a dramatic, generously puffed-up stone pot that overflows with volume! Unlike other places, this one seems to have sesame oil or perilla oil drizzled on top! It made it extra savory and delicious👏👏👏 Soft and moist, pairing it with the spicy chicken feet gives your stomach a comforting, hearty balance.

Yeongpo verdict: 4.5 out of 5

I gave Yeongpo a rating of 4.5/5.0. The addictive sauce flavor of the buldak-level spicy boneless chicken feet was excellent, and the combination of the spicy bean sprout soup with the soft egg custard was perfect👍

It had a warm, cozy pojangmacha (street-style pub) atmosphere that made for a genuinely enjoyable drink. Whenever I'm craving spicy chicken feet and a cold drink in Bucheon, this is a bar I'll want to come back to without a doubt!! If you're looking for great chicken feet and excellent drinking snacks near Bucheon, be sure to stop by Yeongpo. You'll have a great time you won't regret! ✨
