Brivite Seongsu is a Western-style restaurant that's great for brunch in Seongsu-dong. It's popular enough to have a wait even on a weekday afternoon, so let me introduce it.

Seongsu-dong is so hot these days — restaurants, cafés, pop-ups, so many of them. It'd been a while since I went to Seongsu-dong for a good brunch, so here's my honest review of Brivite Seongsu, a Seongsu brunch spot.

How to walk from Ttukseom Station Exit 3

Brivite Seongsu, a Seongsu brunch spot, is close to Exit 3 of Ttukseom Station on Line 2. It's on a relatively quiet alley, so it wasn't crowded, which I actually liked.

Brivite Seongsu has a strong presence from the outside — the pink sign really catches your eye. It's so pretty from the outside that photos taken with it in the background come out great.

What the room at Brivite Seongsu looks like

The interior of Brivite Seongsu is so pretty too, totally my taste. I love eating brunch leisurely in a pretty space like this. It's especially a space women would like.

Brivite Seongsu can be booked via Naver, so if you're visiting with a group, I'd recommend reserving ahead. Even on a weekday early lunch, half the tables were already full right when they opened, and by the time we left there was a wait.

Water and pickles are self-service — you grab them yourself.

What comes in the Brie Set for two

This Seongsu brunch spot has well-put-together set menus and plenty of à la carte options to choose from too. Today we ordered the brunch set for two, which comes with steak, one main dish, a side, and a drink.

The full table, course by course

Wow, today's brunch spread is so pretty just from the visuals! Cheese-loaded steak, thick and creamy green onion cream corn gnocchi, and a refreshing Greek yogurt salad — pretty generous, right?

I usually like gnocchi, but gnocchi with corn in it?! The gnocchi was crispy outside, chewy inside — totally my style. And the cream was so thick and delicious — now I get why it's Brivite Seongsu's signature dish.

The chewy gnocchi with green onion cream sauce and corn is such a great combo. If you're looking for a great gnocchi place, come to Brivite Seongsu!

Greek yogurt and tomato salad

Gotta have a salad with brunch, right? This salad, with Greek yogurt, basil, and tomato, was refreshing itself, and it went really well with the steak, the main dish.

Gotta get some protein too, so we ordered the steak. When the steak came out, a staff member sprinkled cheese right at the table — it was amazing, haha. You could basically call it a cheese bomb!!!

The red wine sauce especially was bright and delicious, and the sous vide bu-chaesal (skirt steak) was really tender. The vegetable garnish matched well too, haha.

Eating it together with the garnish like this made the flavor feel even richer, hahaha.

Is Brivite Seongsu a good date spot in Seongsu-dong?

Seongsu-dong's main street is bustling, but the Ttukseom Station side where Brivite Seongsu is located was quiet and relaxed, which I liked. It's actually just a 10-minute walk from Seongsu-dong's main street, so accessibility is great too!

A lot of people go to Seongsu-dong these days, and if you're looking for a pretty, delicious brunch spot there, I recommend Brivite Seongsu! The exterior catches your eye, the interior is even cuter and prettier, and the food speaks for itself,,! Visuals, taste, price, and atmosphere were all satisfying.
