Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch is a café specializing in French-style baked goods on Meokgeori 9-gil in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan. On a windy, rainy day, the writer stopped by with a child and ordered an iced americano, a blend juice and three financiers to go: Nunettine, vanilla macadamia and salt choco. Iced tea was served at the waiting seats. The salt choco financier was the best of the three, earning Brewers Coffee a place as a go-to spot for baked goods in Cheonan.

Cheonan katsu spot with high chairs and curry king cutlet: Jinsim Wang

Jinsim Wang Donkatsu Cheonan Buldang is a king pork cutlet (donkatsu) restaurant on Buldang34-gil in Seobuk-gu, Cheonan. Over lunch on a family outing, the writer ordered the Jinsim curry king cutlet and the cheese waterfall cutlet, added soup and lettuce wraps from the self-bar, and fed her baby rice with furikake and soup in a high chair. Parking, roomy seating and unlimited self-bar soup made Jinsim Wang Donkatsu an easy lunch stop with a small child.

High chairs and grilled cheese at Suwon Korean BBQ spot Olheun Gogi

Olheun Gogi Suwon Main Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant on Yeongtong-ro 218beon-gil near Mangpo Station in Suwon, Gyeonggi, where staff grill the meat at your table. Four adults and two toddlers shared the Olheun Pork Set: 150g Korean beef yukhoe (raw beef tartare), a 710g assortment of pork belly, neck and sirloin trim, 100g grilled cheese and steamed egg, with a high chair, table-order tablets, meljeot (salted anchovy sauce) and fresh wasabi brought out for them. Olheun Gogi is an easy Mangpo Station BBQ choice when you are eating with small children.

Ingye-dong haejangguk with a baby high chair, Suwon: Jeju Eunhuine

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Korean restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon serving boneless haejangguk (hangover soup) and Jeju-style dombe pork (sliced boiled pork). On a weekend lunch visit with a baby, the writer ordered two haejangguk and a small dombe pork, and found the high chair, safe-dining certification and 25 parking spaces made eating with a child easy. Even with pregnancy nausea the seonji (blood tofu) had no off-smell, and the bowl was finished to the last spoonful.
