Large Uijeongbu café outing at 34 weeks pregnant: Forerest
In short
Forerest (포어레스트) is a large forest-style café in Nogyang-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. A blogger who was 34 weeks pregnant stopped by with her husband after a meal and had an iced americano for 5,500 won and a chocolate Basque cheesecake for 8,000 won, and was impressed by the vintage interior divided into room-like spaces and parking for more than 100 cars. With high chairs and pets allowed, Forerest is a great Uijeongbu cake café for couples' dates and for visits with kids.

Today I went with my husband to "Forerest" in Nokyang-dong, Uijeongbu! It's already famous as a Uijeongbu cake spot and a large café here. From the entrance it felt like walking into a forest! Since it's a standalone café, parking was easy and the view was amazing 🫶🏻 Next time I definitely want to bring 'Somi' along too.

The parking lot had plenty of room beside and behind the store—up to 100 spots!! And even from the parking lot the view was already great 🫶🏻

What was the outdoor terrace like?
Forerest also had a spacious outdoor terrace! The weather was warm enough that sitting outside was pretty nice too 👍🏻 I think it'd be great to come with a kid—next time I'll try coming with 'Somi.'

Forerest's room-like indoor layout
The inside of Forerest was more unique than I expected! Instead of one continuous open space, it was divided into several room-like sections. There were vintage props scattered everywhere, and each room had slightly different tables and moods, so it was fun choosing a seat. The wood-toned vintage props all came together for a cozy feel 😊

Forerest's menu lineup
The menu was very simple, centered on Basque cheesecake and drinks! There were many kinds of Basque cheesecake, and besides coffee there were non-coffee drinks and teas too, so it was easy to pick according to taste! The americano was on the cheaper side 🫶🏻 And the tea is organic!

The coffee-making area had a warm, cozy wood-tone feel 🤎 It was open, so I could watch while waiting! The staff were also really kind 🫶🏻—they greeted us warmly, so ordering felt pleasant.

Water was set out separately, and there were big plants scattered around, adding a spoonful of green to the vintage vibe 🌿 It was fun spotting these little interior details 💚

Photo zone
📸 Photo zone 📸 There were photo zones here and there 🤎 Got a shot with my husband... I'm a 34-week pregnant lady with a belly sticking out haha.

What we ordered, the prices, and how the Basque cheesecake tasted
- Iced Americano ₩5,500
- Decaf Iced Americano ₩6,500
- Chocolate Basque Cheesecake ₩8,000
- Basque Cheesecake ₩7,500
Wow!! The Basque cheesecake was so delicious, totally dense and gooey... a real Uijeongbu cake spot 👍🏻 And of course the coffee was nutty, right up my alley.
How about Forerest for a Uijeongbu date course?
Forerest was a great, relaxed stop with my husband after a meal—a Uijeongbu café full of vintage charm 🌿☕️ I think it'd be great to come with a kid too. Left feeling properly healed.
