Chuseok holiday café in Uijeongbu open till midnight: Forerest
Forerest is a large forest-view café on Nogyang-ro in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi. Over the Chuseok holiday we ordered two iced Americanos, a chocolate Basque cheesecake and an Earl Grey Basque cheesecake and ate them at an outdoor table ringed by trees, then looked around the vintage wood-toned interior that feels like a converted house. With parking for more than 100 cars and daily hours until midnight all year round, Forerest works just as well for a holiday outing as for a late-night drive.
