Suwon bakery café by Changnyongmun Gate for egg tarts: Caffeine Focus
Caffeine Focus is a stand-alone bakery café spread over three floors right in front of Changnyongmun Gate on the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress wall in Suwon, Gyeonggi. From a seat on the 3rd-floor outdoor terrace, I had cheese olive ciabatta, an einspänner and an egg tart, and the owner packed the leftover bread in cute wrapping paper. Caffeine Focus stays quiet rather than crowded, making it a hideout-like stop for a break during a Hwaseong Fortress walk.
