In short
Café Ohkam is a dessert café in a red brick building in Gwangjin, Seoul, a 3-minute walk from Konkuk Univ. Station Exit 2, with seating from the 1st floor up to a 3rd-floor rooftop. On a weekday evening date at Café Ohkam, the writer had the gradient lemonade (6,500 won), the brûlée einspänner (7,000 won) and the Basque cheesecake (7,800 won), and especially loved the aurora-like colours of the zero-calorie lemonade and the dense, rich texture of the cheesecake. For drinks and cake together near Konkuk Univ. Station, Café Ohkam is a great fit.

Café Ohkam (카페 오캄) is a popular dessert spot near Konkuk Univ. Station. It had been a while since our last date around Konkuk Univ. Station, and I suddenly craved dessert, so I stopped by Café Ohkam~

The red brick building already felt warm and cozy from the outside :) You can use everything from the 1st floor up to the 3rd-floor rooftop, and I loved the warm lighting and big windows.

Inside Café Ohkam, floor by floor

The name Ohkam, OKLM (au calme), means "calm, quiet," and it really suits the café's mood. The moment I walked into the 1st floor, the sweet smell of desserts wafted over~ The 1st floor has the ordering area and table seats.

2nd floor seating: seats for 2, seats for 4 and sofa seats
Up the stairs, the 2nd floor is a cool, comfortable seating area.

The 2nd floor has seats for 2 and seats for 4, plus cozy sofa seats too. It was a Konkuk Univ. dessert café, Ohkam, that gave off such a relaxed vibe ✨

3rd floor rooftop: night view
Up on the 3rd floor there's a rooftop with a gorgeous night view!! On a cool day, it would be great for soaking up the view~
What's on the menu at Café Ohkam?

Café Ohkam has a wide range of coffees and ades, and the desserts vary too: French toast, kaymak (Turkish clotted cream), cakes and more. The summer fresh mango bingsu (shaved ice) looked delicious as well! We grabbed seats on the 2nd floor first, then went down to the 1st floor to order our drinks and desserts. It's such a popular café that even on a weekday evening the tables were packed with customers~
- Coffee: Americano, café latte, vanilla latte, caramel macchiato, Delos crumble latte, einspänner, coconut spänner, brûlée spänner and more
- Ades: basil tomato ade, gradient lemon ade, plum ade, tangerine ade, pomegranate lemon ade and more

I really wanted cake that day, and I was glad they had the cheesecake I was after. They also sell a fruit sando (sandwich), but it's a popular item and was sold out in the evening! 🍰 The cakes at the time of our visit were two: Basque cheesecake and mango cake.
- Gradient lemonade ₩6,500
- Brûlée einspänner ₩7,000
- Basque cheesecake ₩7,800

Café Ohkam also sells birthday candles separately. When you order, they hand you a buzzer, and even the buzzer has a cute kitty on it.

Gradient lemonade: how does the zero-calorie signature taste?
Café Ohkam's gradient lemonade (₩6,500) was such a pretty drink, right from the look of it! The colors had an aurora feel~

The gradient lemonade is even zero-calorie, so you can enjoy something refreshing without any guilt, and I hear it's Café Ohkam's signature ade! It won me over from looks to taste, and I'd say it's perfect for summer, don't you think~? It's tangy and zero-calorie, so it felt light, and I was really happy with it :)

What does the brûlée einspänner taste like?
Café Ohkam's brûlée einspänner (₩7,000), a coffee that combines crème brûlée with an einspänner (coffee topped with cream), was my partner's pick. Isn't this a guaranteed delicious combo~

I tapped the caramelized top, like dalgona (honeycomb toffee), with a spoon to crack it, then took a bite together with the rich, heavy cream, and it was so good! If you like lattes, I'd recommend it~

Is the Basque cheesecake at Café Ohkam dense and rich?
Café Ohkam's Basque cheesecake (₩7,800) comes topped with cream and coffee cookies, and it was a perfect dessert cake.

The Basque cheesecake was thick and dense, with a deep cheese flavor. That dense, rich texture was so good! Next time I'd like to try the fresh cream cake with seasonal fruit :)
The coffee, drinks and desserts were all delicious, so we left happy from Café Ohkam, a Konkuk Univ. dessert café. If you're looking for a great dessert spot near Konkuk Univ. Station, give Café Ohkam a visit~
