We were lazing around the house with my daughter one weekend when I decided I wanted a special date with her, so I rushed to get us ready. We'd always had our dates in the daytime, but I'd heard about a café with a beautiful sunset, and the unusual evening timing had me weirdly excited. That's how we ended up at Four & More, a big café in Paju.

First impressions of Four & More in Paju

Four & More feels less like a café and more like a luxury resort hotel. Wow~~ is this really a café? We parked underground, went up one flight of stairs, and what is this interior, like a hotel at a high-end resort???

Where to watch the sunset at Four & More

You can watch the sunset right from the rooftop. I'd heard it's pretty when the sun goes down, and we arrived at exactly the right time to see it set. I wanted to catch the sunset so badly that I forgot all about the lovely 1st floor for a moment and went straight up to the roof, completely lost in the view.

Four & More floor layout and seating

The building has a car park underground. The 1st floor has the bread display and the counter where you order, and above that are the 2nd to 4th floors and the rooftop.

Floor-by-floor seating at Four & More

There are so many tables, from single seats facing the window to group seating for dates or gatherings. The seats are spaced widely, so even with lots of people there was no bumping into anyone and the interior felt roomy.

Each floor has a slightly different theme, but they share a similar mood with antique furniture, so wherever you sit the space feels cozy and atmospheric. In every piece of furniture and every prop, you can feel how much thought the owner put into creating a sentimental café vibe that suits the river view.

Every floor also has plenty of high chairs, so it's a good place for a family outing.

Even looking back, the sunset was so pretty that I couldn't even order and just kept gazing at it in a daze. This is Four & More, Paju's sunset hotspot.

Does Four & More discount its bread in the evening?

We arrived late, so the bakery was 30% off.

Sadly, there were only a few breads left.

Cookies have an expiry date, so there was a wide variety and plenty of them. I couldn't photograph the breads I missed, so I recorded them on video instead.

Four & More food and drink menu

Four & More has a wide range of brunch meals, so choosing was fun. Since we came in the evening, our eyes naturally went to the meals rather than the bread.

There's also a good variety of coffee, non-coffee drinks, tea, smoothies and ades.

We ordered the sirloin salad for ₩22,000 and the pesce for ₩27,000. We were hungry because it was dinnertime, but seeing how they looked made us even hungrier.

Thinking about eating tasty food while looking at the sunset, the food already seemed twice as good just by looking at it. Shall we enjoy the sirloin salad and pesce with the view?

How is the Four & More sirloin salad (22,000 won)?

The sirloin salad comes with tender, rosy-pink beef and fresh greens, with white cheese and balsamic sauce over red tomatoes. The look of it had my mouth watering, and even now I want to eat it again.

The mild, nutty flavor of the sirloin blended with the freshness of crunchy vegetables, and the sweet and tangy dressing perfectly cut the richness of the meat, so it was clean and refined with no chance of getting tired of it. My hungry daughter said it was delicious and couldn't put her fork down.

Four & More pesce with seafood in tomato broth

How is the Four & More pesce (27,000 won)?

The pesce is a spicy pasta with generous scallops, shrimp and clams sitting in a rich, hot red tomato broth. Ahh~~ you can feel the spiciness just by looking at it.

The deep savory flavor of the seafood comes through, making the broth spicy yet refreshing, and the sauce clung heavily to the chewy noodles. The exotic, addictive, hot and clean taste made it hard to put down my fork and spoon! It's exactly the kind of spicy I love, so I'm calling this a Paju brunch must-visit!

It was a meal with the sunset view on my first evening drive with my daughter, so I think it'll stay in my memory as a memorable Paju drive destination.
