Juan roastery café, Incheon: cold brew vs Costa Rica drip, Tiny Dot
In short
Tiny Dot is a large four-floor roastery café on a quiet side street in Hagik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, near Juan. Four drinks were ordered at once to compare color, texture and taste: a cold brew americano, a mild bean americano, a Costa Rica Tarrazú hand drip and the signature Deulkkae Dot (perilla cream drink). The low-acid, nutty hand drip and the thick perilla cream stood out, and with its own parking and seats with outlets, Tiny Dot works well for both studying and dates.

Today I'm writing an honest review of Tiny Dot, an Incheon roastery café with seriously good coffee!
Where is Tiny Dot? A four-floor roastery café on a Hagik-dong side street

Tiny Dot, a big café in the Juan area, is in Hagik-dong, Incheon. It sits on a quiet side street, but it's a four-floor café! They roast their own beans too, so if you love coffee, this is a place you have to visit!

In hot weather like this, a café without parking can be a pain, but Tiny Dot has its own parking lot, so parking is easy!
Tiny Dot menu: bean choices, hand drip and Deulkkae Dot

This is the menu at Tiny Dot. Since they roast in-house, even the basic americano comes with a choice of beans: mild, dark, charcoal-roasted or decaf, which I loved.
There's a separate cold brew menu too, and for hand drip coffee you can choose beans by origin! I ordered the basic americano, a cold brew and a hand drip, one of each type, to compare the tastes haha.
It's a roastery, but there's also a wide non-coffee menu: millstone matcha latte, Deulkkae Dot (perilla seed drink), Chamkkae Dot (sesame drink), tea, juice, ade, smoothies and other fresh drinks you can only try at Tiny Dot.

Orange Dot, Chamkkae Dot and Deulkkae Dot were special drinks I'd never seen at other cafés, topped with a nutty cream. I picked Deulkkae Dot haha. I heard the jujube tea is also simmered in-house, so they seem really serious about every single drink.

This is the popular millstone matcha latte! They grind Hadong matcha by hand on a millstone, which is so cool that I want to order it next time.

They have desserts besides drinks too: gourmet butter salt bread, scones, croffles (croissant waffles) and more, all around ₩3,000, which is really cheap!

They also sell drip bags and beans so you can enjoy the coffee at home, and coffee tools at low prices! Browsing was fun too haha.
Inside Tiny Dot: floor-by-floor layout and seating

As a big Juan-area café, Tiny Dot uses the whole four-floor building: the 1st floor is the counter and roasting space, the 2nd and 3rd floors are café space, and the 4th floor is a reservation-only café space!
There's an elevator too, so getting around is easy haha.

Both the 2nd and 3rd floors had plenty of tables, with seats for one, two, four and more, so it looks good for solo visits, dates or coming with family.

The interior has a moody, aesthetic feel that went nicely with the green of summer.
There are outlets all around the tables, so it looked good for working on a laptop. Quite a few people were studying there, and the overall mood was calm and quiet, which I loved!
Cold brew vs mild americano vs Costa Rica hand drip: how do they taste?

We carried our order up to the 3rd floor~ You can put your tray on a shelf in the elevator like this! Such a thoughtful touch, totally thumbs up.

We ordered four drinks: a cold brew americano, a mild bean americano, a hand drip (Costa Rica) americano and a Deulkkae Dot!

First, the Deulkkae Dot I was most curious about! The perilla cream on top had a nutty flavor that paired so well with perilla's distinctive aroma. If you like drinks like the Einspänner (coffee with cream on top), I really recommend trying it!
Thick, rich cream heaven!! No wonder it's the signature menu item...

Next up: the mild bean americano, the cold brew and the hand drip. The color and texture were all different!
I chose Costa Rica Tarrazú beans for the hand drip. Choosing beans can be hard, but if you tell the staff the flavor or aroma you like, they pick for you kindly! It had low acidity and a lovely nutty aroma.

There was a wide variety of beans, and they grind them fresh and hand drip them for you. I want to work my way through every kind!

In Juan, I got the peaceful neighborhood vibe and the comfort of a big café at the same time, so it was really healing. I recommend Tiny Dot, a great coffee spot in Incheon!
