Hongdae nail salon monthly art from past months, 11-year pro: Byuazeu

I wanted summer nails, so I searched through a lot of Hongdae nail salons. I was looking for pretty designs that also last, and that's how I ended up at Byuazeu (뷰아즈)!!

I chose it for the designs alone, haha. The monthly art and the past arts were all so pretty that I booked right away.

A wide range of monthly art designs

Byuazeu doesn't only offer this month's monthly art. You can look through designs from earlier months too, so the choice was really wide.

At nail salons, the design you love is often already last month's, which is such a shame (and sometimes there's an extra charge, sob).

Here you can pick the earlier arts as they are, which I loved!! But I went with a recent one, haha. Every design felt trendy rather than dated, so choosing took me quite a while. The color combos were refined and the point art wasn't over the top, so there were lots of designs perfect for everyday wear.

In the end I picked the monthly art I liked, and in person it was far prettier than in the photos. Eeeeeek, I've been staring at my nails all day,, Above all the art quality was great: clean shapes, and even the tiny patterns were done precisely, so it felt really polished.

Monthly art done in under 1 hour

Insanely fast

The most impressive part of this visit was the speed. I went in thinking monthly art would take at least 2 hours, but it finished much sooner than expected. It was done in under 1 hour, and it never felt rushed.

When a job ends quickly, the finish can be a bit disappointing or lacking in detail, but Byuazeu was the opposite. From cuticle care to color application to the art, everything was very meticulous and the finish was smooth, so I was very satisfied. I kept thinking how fast the technician's hands were. She looks really young, but she told me she has 11 years of experience,,

If long nail sessions put you off, I think you'll be especially happy here. You can stop by briefly before an appointment or get it done quickly after work!!!

Nails, skincare and lashes in one stop

Another thing I liked about Byuazeu is that it isn't only a nail shop. It's an all-in-one beauty shop where you can get lashes and skincare too, so handling several treatments in one place looked really convenient! When I visited, other customers were getting skincare and nails together.

Booking and running around to several shops is such a hassle!!! Being able to finish everything in one place seems like a bigger plus than you'd think. Before an important event or a trip, you can get nails, lashes and skincare on the same day, which would save a lot of time.

Byuazeu Hongdae: atmosphere and facilities

The shop was neatly kept overall and the treatment area was comfortable, so I could relax during the session. Thumbs up. If you're looking for a good nail place in Hongdae, I'd recommend it: I was happy with the designs, the speed and the quality.

If you're torn over monthly art like I was, being able to choose from many designs to suit your taste is a big plus, and the high finish quality despite the quick service made it an even more satisfying visit! Next time the season changes, I plan to try another monthly art design, haha. There are so many designs that I think it will feel fresh even when I go back.

Oh, and the restroom has a hair dryer and a curling iron too!!!! It seems really nice for after a skincare treatment. The best!!!
