Hi, this is Hijuk. I went to Polia Gimpo Unyang Branch to get the wood-fired pizza that my 6-year-old Dami loves.

With warm lighting and a calm interior, Restaurant Polia Gimpo Unyang Branch has an overall cozy feel and is one of the good-vibe restaurants in Gimpo. The tables aren't crammed together and the space feels spacious, so even with a kid along, we could eat comfortably.

Near the entrance there's a big wood-fired oven, and you can actually watch your pizza go in and bake, which made me even more excited for it.

They have baby chairs and baby tableware, which made dining with a child easy.

Tagliata is an Italian term for meat that's grilled and then thinly sliced for easy eating. The tagliata salad is deliciously grilled sirloin cap sliced thin and served with fresh salad greens.

The moment I took a bite, the sirloin cap was so tender and delicious it just melted in my mouth! The savory juices paired so well with the crisp, fresh vegetables that everyone in the family, including 6-year-old Dami, enjoyed it. I could see why this place is known as a good steak spot in Gimpo.

The gorgonzola pizza at Polia Gimpo, known for wood-fired pizza in Unyang-dong, is 22,500 won.

This is Dami's favorite pizza — the one you dip in honey — gorgonzola pizza 🍕. Baked in the wood oven, the crust was light and savory, and you could really taste the cheese.

Gorgonzola pizza tastes even better dipped in honey — the sweetness combined with the cheese's saltiness makes it more delicious. Our daughter cleared two whole slices 👍

We ate well and enjoyed it a lot~~~

For dessert, we could choose between coffee and tea. Since it was dinner, I wanted something lighter than coffee, so I picked the iced herbal tea for dessert. It had a mild, clean flavor that was perfect for cleansing the palate after the meal.

Is Polia Gimpo worth it with a 6-year-old?
