I visited Dalgeuraem (달그램), a new café in Gyesan-dong. This time I ordered a peanut cream latte, a basil tomato ade, a decaf americano and a melon milk cake. Personally, the tomato basil ade and the melon milk cake with real melon in it were the most memorable. If you're looking for a new café in Gyesan-dong, take a look, haha

Dalgeuraem location and opening hours
Dalgeuraem is at 9-7 Jubuto-ro 543beon-gil, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, on the 1st floor, and it's open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–21:00.
What do Dalgeuraem's exterior and interior look like?
The exterior has white walls with a wooden-colored door, so it stood out even in the alley. It felt clean and comfortable rather than over-decorated, the kind of place you can drop into casually in the neighborhood.
There was a small sculpture and a sign by the entrance, and when I visited there were Halloween decorations too.
Inside, bright walls and wooden tables came first. The seating runs all the way to the window seats, so the whole place felt comfortable to stay in.

Cakes and breads at Dalgeuraem
There was a really wide range of cakes too: melon milk cake, sweet pumpkin cake, fig pistachio cake and more.

The display case had a huge variety of breads.

- Chocolate baguette
- Pollock roe baguette
- Egg tart
- Butter cookies
- Classic cinnamon roll
- Lotus caramel cinnamon roll
- Salty caramel nuts cinnamon milk roll
- Potato cheese focaccia
- Financier

What kinds of salt bread does Dalgeuraem have?
Dalgeuraem had lots of unusual salt bread (sotgeumppang, a buttery salted roll).

Some are topped with sauce or cheese, and some are even coated in chocolate, so it was fun to look at them one by one.

- Chili salt bread
- Soft salt bread
- Dubai chocolate salt bread
- Pollock roe mayo salt bread
- Red bean butter salt bread
- Milk vanilla cream salt bread
- Corn mayo Ppuring salt bread
- Garlic cream cheese salt bread
- and more

Personally, I was tempted by this salt bread with mozzarella cheese.

They take the basic salt bread and add sauce or fillings, so it felt different from a regular salt bread. I was too full to order any bread this time, but with so many bakery items I want to try the bread next time too.

Dalgeuraem menu and drink option prices

Besides coffee, the drinks include signature lattes, ades and teas. An extra shot or switching to decaf is +₩500, and switching to oat milk is +₩1,000. The signature menu is the vanilla bean cream latte, peanut cream latte and black sesame cream latte.
What I ordered and the prices
- Basil tomato ade ₩5,500
- Peanut cream latte ₩6,000
- Decaf americano ₩4,500
- Melon milk cake ₩8,200

Three drinks and a cake together on the sunny window ledge looked so pretty.
My standard for a great café is the coffee. Dalgeuraem, you are absolutely a coffee place!!

How does Dalgeuraem's basil tomato ade taste?
Dalgeuraem's basil tomato ade (₩5,500) has basil leaves in a clear ade, with tomato on top.

The fizzy ade carries tomato and basil aroma, and it was nice to sip between heavier things like the cream latte and cake.

At first I hesitated since it's an unfamiliar drink, but please, just order this one!!! Totally recommended, haha
What is the signature peanut cream latte like?
Dalgeuraem's signature peanut cream latte (₩6,000)! Thick cream sits on top of the milk and coffee, generously sprinkled with crushed peanuts.

The smooth cream is followed by the nutty flavor of peanuts, and the crunchy bits here and there make the texture more fun than a plain cream latte.
Melon milk cake texture and taste
Dalgeuraem's melon milk cake (₩8,200) is layered with thin sponge and white cream, with orange and light green melon pieces between the layers.

Scooping sponge, cream and melon together with a fork, you chew the melon through the soft cream, so the texture never gets boring.

If the peanut cream latte leans nutty, the melon milk cake was a bit fresher and lighter to eat.
Overall verdict on Dalgeuraem in Gyesan-dong
Dalgeuraem is a new Gyesan-dong café that's good not only for salt bread but for drinks and cakes too.

The peanut cream latte has thick cream, nutty flavor and a crunchy texture, so it wasn't one-note even within a single cup. The melon milk cake has melon you chew through soft cream, and it went well alongside. Drinking the basil tomato ade in between, all three had different flavor directions, so alternating them was fun. If you want drinks and dessert together at a new Gyesan-dong café, stop by Dalgeuraem 😊
