Masian 300 is a handmade burger place we visited with my husband and our baby after staying one night at the Nest Hotel in Yeongjong. We brought the stroller, and since it has outdoor seating and is dog-friendly, there are few restrictions, so pretty much anyone can drop in easily. That was a big plus.

I found it while looking for something to eat nearby. With a baby we have to eat in a hurry, but we're on a trip, so I didn't want just a light bite. And then I spotted a burger place with a great vibe! If you're looking for a restaurant near Eulwangni that works with a baby, you could do what we did. Let's go!!

Masian 300 location, parking and opening hours

Masian 300 sits right beside the coastal road on Masiran-ro in Yeongjong, and the parking lot is big. It's open 10:00-20:00 (last order 19:30) and closed every Wednesday.

The sign looks like something you'd spot while driving down an American highway. With such a large lot, it was easy to get the baby out of the car seat and to take the stroller out of the trunk.

What we ordered at Masian 300

At Masian 300 we ordered the Masian Shrimp, the Masian Classic BLT and chili cheese fries.

They look like proper handmade burgers, full of care! The layered ingredients and the bun are perfect, aren't they?

How does the Masian Classic BLT taste?

The Masian BLT is a burger with a beef patty, bacon, tomato and romaine lettuce. Take a bite and you can feel how juicy the beef patty is.

The beefy flavor and richness get stronger the more you eat! The bacon isn't tough; it's grilled slightly crisp but still tender. With romaine and tomato, it felt refreshing. Overall nothing sticks out, and it all works in harmony.

Is the Masian Shrimp patty made of whole shrimp?

The Masian Shrimp isn't whole shrimp, but the patty is chopped into big chunks to keep that whole-shrimp texture. We're shrimp lovers, so we went with the shrimp patty.

The springy shrimp texture was so good that I looked at the patty again to check whether it was whole shrimp. The crunch of the romaine and the onion with the sharpness taken out was nice too.

With franchise burgers I usually leave most of the bun, but at Masian 300, a burger spot in Yeongjong worth the trip, the bun was so good I wanted to eat the bread on its own. It's moderately thick, not heavy, and nicely nutty.

How are the chili cheese fries?

Masian 300's chili cheese fries use thick-cut fries rather than thin ones, loaded with chili sauce and cheese sauce. With a sauce like this, thick fries stay less soggy and suit it better than thin ones.

It's chili, but the cheese adds richness, so the sauce is spicy and salty! They pour on plenty, so even the fries at the bottom get all the sauce you want.

Drinks and other menu items at Masian 300: can you go just like a café?

Masian 300 has a wide range of drinks, so there's lots to choose from. We got Coke Zero, but there's also Dr Pepper Zero, grape and pineapple sodas, Bundaberg in different flavors, sparkling water and even beer!!

There are lots of burger types too, like an avocado burger, double patty burger and truffle mushroom burger, and they have a milkshake made with Sangha Farm milk!! Is that meant for dipping fries in?! They even have an ice cream latte, so this would be fine to visit as a café.

While we were eating burgers, I saw someone take a latte to go, and I really wonder whether you can order just drinks without a burger...

Masian 300 interior and seating

Inside Masian 300 there's a good mix of 4-person and 2-person tables, and the whole place is white-toned, so it feels clean.

There's a hideout-like corner, and one side has only 4-person tables, which felt cozy.

Masian 300 outdoor tables and rooftop: can you see the sea?

Masian 300 has outdoor tables and a rooftop, and from the rooftop you can see the sea beyond the trees. The outdoor tables feel romantic too, and the building's exterior and the outdoor seating are very Instagram-worthy, a great spot for photos.

The wooden sign, parasols and benches give it an exotic feel! Eating a burger under a parasol on a nice day would feel just like being on vacation!!

Up on the rooftop, the tables are lined up in a row and you can see the sea beyond the trees. We went on a cloudy day, and you have no idea how disappointed I was. We've decided to come back to the Nest Hotel in Yeongjong, and when we do, we'll come back to Masian 300 for burgers too.
