Sikgwa Hamkke Jeju Sanbangsan Branch is a Korean restaurant near Sanbangsan in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju. The boneless braised cutlassfish for 2 costs 45,000 won and arrives with fried whole rockfish, soy-marinated crab, abalone and turban shell rice, and sea urchin seaweed soup, filling the entire table, and the fish is deboned so there is no picking around bones. Worth noting when you want a proper full Korean spread while travelling in Jeju.

The writer shared a medium braised pork bones for 36,000 won with friends, adding two bowls of rice for 38,000 won total, and the rich sauce came loaded with glass noodles, rice cakes and meaty bones. For a group looking beyond gamjatang, the braised pork bones at Namdareun Gamjatang was the right call.
