What is Columbus Lounge, the pirate-ship bar for a Bupyeong date?

Columbus Lounge in Bupyeong is a lounge bar decked out like a pirate ship. You know those times you want a nice atmosphere, good food and a cocktail on a date? 🍸 This is the place I visited: the pirate-ship lounge Columbus in Bupyeong, haha.

The pirate theme is everywhere, so just looking around was fun from the moment I walked in 🏴‍☠️ Especially the small box under the menu!

It was the Captain's Secret Treasure Box, which you can actually open, and there were snacks inside, so it felt like a little treasure hunt, lol 🍬

It's not only the atmosphere that's unique. Each floor has its own concept, so it's right up my alley as a Bupyeong bar date spot. Exploring each floor is part of the fun.

How does each floor of Columbus Lounge differ?

Columbus Lounge is split into Davy Jones on B1, Columbus Lounge on the 2nd floor, Columbus Upper Deck on the 3rd and the Crow's Nest rooftop on the 4th, and each floor has its own mood and things to enjoy. They gave me a guide booklet, and reading it, the differences between floors are really clear!

B1 Davy Jones: hookah and cocktails

Davy Jones is a space for hookah, cocktails, whisky and wine. Going down underground feels like stepping into another world, and that exotic atmosphere is the highlight!

2F Columbus Lounge: the main lounge, with meals too

The 2nd-floor Columbus Lounge is the main lounge, where you can have signature cocktails, whisky and wine as well as meals! haha

It was great for chatting over music~ Since every floor has a different vibe, this pirate lounge would make a fresh, different Bupyeong date course.

3F Columbus Upper Deck: private cigar and cognac lounge

The 3rd-floor Columbus Upper Deck is said to be a private lounge for cigars, cognac, whisky and wine. It catches your eye when you want to spend time leisurely in a calm atmosphere!

4F Crow's Nest rooftop: a private gathering space

The 4th-floor Crow's Nest is a rooftop private space, and the guide said you can enjoy cigars or hold a private gathering there. Since each floor feels different, it's worth checking which space you want before you visit 😊

How was the spicy beef brisket rice noodle at Columbus Lounge?

I ordered the spicy beef brisket rice noodles (얼큰 차돌 쌀국수) that had a HIT mark on the Columbus Lounge menu, and the spiciness made it even more memorable! 🌶️ The red broth is packed with beef brisket, bean sprouts and onion,

and it comes with lemon too, so it looked appetizing from the start. On a day when you crave a spicy, hearty broth, it would work as both a drinking snack and a meal.

The menu had a variety of dishes, including beef brisket rice noodles, spicy beef brisket rice noodles and truffle papa pasta, plus tacos and platters that are good for sharing, so you can choose to suit your taste. 🍽️

What's inside the Captain's Secret Treasure Box?

The Captain's Secret Treasure Box at Columbus Lounge held snacks like candy and chocolate, along with a lighter 🍫🍬 It was honestly the thing I had the most fun with, lol. I saw a picture of a box under the menu and thought it was just decoration, but a real box came out on the table and I could open it myself!

It's fun to open while you wait for your food, and it's a cute thing to photograph, so it was nice for making a little memory on a Bupyeong bar date.
