Jinju naengmyeon restaurant with Blue Ribbon brass bowls: Song Giwon
Song Giwon Jinju Naengmyeon Main Branch is a naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle) restaurant on Modeok-ro 47beon-gil near Yeonam Library in Jinju, Gyeongnam. On a weekday visit at 1pm the writer ordered Nongae 1593 (bibim), Song Giwon 1997 (seokkeum, or mixed), and a side of ujeon (beef pan-fried in egg batter), and found the clean broth of blended seafood and beef stock and the thick beef jeon topping the highlights. Three straight years on the Blue Ribbon Survey (2024, 2025, 2026) made sense from the first bite.
