Haejangguk restaurant in Buk-gu, Ulsan, open lunch-only: Boksan
Boksan Haejang is a haejangguk (hangover soup) and gukbap restaurant in the Songjeong district new town of Buk-gu, Ulsan. Visiting on a weekday at noon, the writer tried Boksan Haejangguk (₩11,000), Haejang Kalguksu (₩13,000) and somyeon noodle add-on (₩1,000), finding a deep broth simmered from pork bone, seafood and vegetables with generous meat. The restaurant only opens 11:00–14:30, so it's worth rushing there before the lunch peak.
