BAS Burger Seonyudo is a handmade burger restaurant right in front of Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station (Line 9) in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. On a weekday late afternoon two burgers were ordered from the table tablet — a wasabi mayo shrimp burger as a combo and a double BAS burger as a set — then cut in half to share, with free potato chips and self-serve ketchup and mayonnaise in the hall. Burgers run from 6,900 won for the sriracha cheeseburger to 14,000 won for the Greedy Burger, making BAS Burger Seonyudo an easy stop before a Seonyudo or Han River outing.

Weekday morning cold brew at Yeongdeungpo bakery café BYWAY BAKERS

BYWAY BAKERS Yeongdeungpo Branch is a large bakery café in Dangsan-dong, Seoul, near Exit 1 of Yeongdeungpogu Office Station (Lines 2 and 5). On a weekday visit before lunch, the window seat came with a fig wakppu salt bread, a cold brew and a latte, and the cold brew at BYWAY BAKERS ranked among the best the writer has tasted. Come in the morning if you want a relaxed pick of the bread before the shelves empty.
