Today I'm sharing a review of a Dangsan/Seonyudo Station favorite. With the weather so nice lately and that autumn feeling in the air, I've been heading outdoors a lot, so I stopped by BAS Burger Seonyudo, which is close to Seonyudo and Yanghwa Park along the Han River. It's famous as a takeout spot, and plenty of picnic-bound customers were dropping by too. Here's my review of a handmade burger I enjoyed for the first time in a while!
Where is BAS Burger Seonyudo? Right at Seonyudo Station Exit 4
BAS Burger Seonyudo sits right in front of Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station on Line 9. I walked over from the Yeongdeungpo side as a bit of a stroll, and since Dangsan Station and Seonyudo/Han River parks are nearby, takeout pickups and delivery orders were nonstop, haha.
Inside BAS Burger Seonyudo: seating on a weekday late afternoon

I visited this Dangsan favorite on a nice weekday, a bit past lunchtime. Even in the late afternoon, customers kept streaming in and delivery orders never stopped. It's known as a delivery hotspot, but there's actually quite a bit of indoor seating too, and the atmosphere was nice.

There were window seats with an outdoorsy feel and pub-like inner seating that I also liked. There's a restroom inside too, which is a nice plus for eating comfortably. Ordering is simple — just use the tablet at your table!

We ordered a set, which let us pick a fries sauce — there was a good variety, so it was nice to be able to choose to taste.

Free potato chips and the self-serve sauce bar for dine-in guests
There was also a corner with free potato chips to snack on — with cute Pokémon designs, so it was fun to look at, too — and that's where we grabbed ketchup and mayonnaise. Worth knowing about if you're dining in!

Wasabi mayo shrimp burger as a combo, double BAS burger as a set
And here's what came out! We each picked a double burger and a wasabi mayo shrimp burger, since we didn't want to miss out on either juicy meat or plump shrimp, haha.

The wasabi mayo shrimp burger, packed with onion rings, vegetables, and plump shrimp. The shrimp had a smoky, chewy texture that was genuinely delicious!

At BAS Burger, a combo adds a drink while a set includes sides like French fries, so we ordered one of each.

Instead of a patty made from minced shrimp, it was a combination of onion rings and grilled shrimp, giving the shrimp burger an unusual feel. The vegetables were fresh too, and the sauce paired subtly well.

And then the double BAS burger, where juicy patties met cheddar cheese perfectly. My friend, who genuinely loves American-style burgers, picked this one — and the second she took a bite, she scrunched up her face, saying it was that good!

Of the handmade burgers I've had recently, this was the one with the richest range of flavors — smoky char, softness, a bit of indulgence. A menu that lives up to its reputation as a Seonyudo Station favorite! It'd be great to take out for a picnic at Seonyudo, or down by the Han River.

Cutting both BAS Burger burgers in half to share
We cut both burgers in half and shared them, saving the burger we each preferred for last, haha. And this place turned out to be a secretly great fries spot, too!

Thin, crispy fries with just the right amount of salt — it felt like it'd been a while since I'd had fries that weren't greasy or oversalted. They paired well with the sauces we picked, and being able to grab free ketchup and mayonnaise on top meant we could enjoy them exactly to our taste.

Above all, the fillings inside the burgers were so generous and substantial that we actually ended up leaving a bit — that's how ample the portions were. I think I'll be back to BAS Burger again.

If you're looking for a handmade burger spot near Seonyudo or a Dangsan favorite, I recommend BAS Burger Seonyudo!
