Bulgwangcheon ramen shop at 11am weekday opening: tori paitan, Oreno
In short
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong (오레노라멘 은평점) is a chicken-broth ramen shop right on Bulgwangcheon stream, near Exit 1 of Saejeol Station in Eunpyeong, Seoul. On a repeat visit timed for the 11am weekday opening, the writer ordered tori paitan (₩13,000) and assorted tsukune (₩5,000) and added coriander, free on request, to the tori paitan. Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong's rich chicken broth was as impressive as the first time, which made the return visit worth it.

Here's my revisit review of Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong, the ramen spot by Bulgwangcheon stream~!

Where is Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong and when does it open?
Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is at 366 Bulgwangcheon-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, right in front of Bulgwangcheon stream, 316m from Exit 1 of Saejeol Station. It has served up a feast of flavor, unchanged, from the very start.

It opens every day at 11am and closes at 8:30pm. There's a break time from 2:30pm to 5pm, so if you're heading over in the late afternoon, keep that in mind.

Can you park at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong?
If you're driving, there's room for about 2–3 cars beside and in front of the shop. Check whether there's a spot before you visit, and you can enjoy your meal even more comfortably.
Since it's right by Bulgwangcheon, it's also a great walking course for burning off your blood sugar after eating~ And for a Bulgwangcheon date, you can enjoy the food and then chat at a nice café nearby^^

How to order and menu prices at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong
Open the door and step in, and you'll see a kiosk right at the entrance. Order there, then pick a seat and sit down.

- Tori paitan / karai paitan ₩13,000
- Assorted tsukune (chicken meatballs) ₩5,000
- Extra soft-boiled egg ₩1,000
- Cola / Coke Zero ₩2,000
- Cloud bottled beer ₩5,000
Rice, Korean-style kimchi, red pickled ginger and coriander are free if you ask separately.

There are coat hangers next to the kiosk, FYI~

Is it crowded at the weekday 11am opening?
It opens at 11am on weekdays, and we arrived right at 11, but lots of people were already seated@@! After we sat down, more people kept streaming in, and if we'd been a little later we'd have had to wait.

Table setting and handy extras
On the table there's cold green tea water with cups, plus radish pickle (mu-pickle) and small dishes. In the drawer you'll find wet wipes, tissues and chopsticks. The spoon comes out with the ramen^^!
Yo-ujing-i (my nickname for my companion) opened up the esophagus road with a Coke Zero first. They normally fill a big cup with ice, but we didn't need ice, so we drank from a small cup.
The radish pickle goes so well with ramen, and they gave us a heaping bowl of it. We ate it all and then had more^^
Yo-ujing-i is a messy eater, so I also grabbed an apron. It's a hygienic disposable one.

At Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong, long hair that gets in the way of focusing on your ramen is no problem. Hair ties are provided too.

What you can get unlimited refills of
Noodles, broth, steamed rice and kimchi are all refillable at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong. If you finish your ramen and still want more, big eaters can fill up properly~!

Assorted tsukune and coriander, served first
Yo-ujing-i loves coriander, so we asked for it, and the assorted tsukune and coriander arrived first.

Look at the cute tsukune^^ The assorted tsukune here is tender, tasty and generous in portion, so it's a menu you could eat with a child too.

What does the tori paitan taste like?
And here came the tori paitan at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong, glowing and gorgeous.

Tori paitan is a rich, nutty ramen made from chicken~ and karai paitan is the spicy version~

Soft-boiled egg
I broke into the tori paitan's soft-boiled egg first. Kyaaaah, the seasoning soaks into the white, and eaten with the rich yolk it makes you blurt out "as expected!" out loud T_T

Chicken breast
Next I focused on the meat. Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong makes its chicken breast tender, so the texture and flavor are both great. I normally don't even eat chicken breast with fried chicken, but here the breast doesn't taste like breast, and that's the kicker!

Noodles and broth
When my stomach was starting to fill up, I turned to the carb-y noodles. And as always, even on another visit, they moved me again T_T

The broth... the broth is absolutely amazing too! The tori paitan broth at Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong is deep, rich chicken stock that anyone would say "wow, delicious" to.

Tori paitan with coriander
After focusing on the tori paitan's own flavor, I dropped in the coriander~ and enjoyed an even tastier bowl with that coriander aroma.

A walk by Bulgwangcheon right after the meal
After filling up on delicious ramen, walk out of Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong and Bulgwangcheon is right there.

If you're looking for a ramen spot near Saejeol Station and Bulgwangcheon, how about trying Oreno Ramen Eunpyeong^^?
