Pizza E Michida Konkuk University Branch (피자에미치다 건대점) is a place near Konkuk Univ. Station serving Western-ish (?) food like pizza and pasta. I was looking for a good pizza or pasta spot in Konkuk and suddenly decided to drop by "Pizza E Michida".
Dug (the writer) really likes pizza, so every now and then I randomly go out for it, and pizza never fails, no matter when you eat it. It works as a quick meal, and it's great to share with friends and acquaintances, so I end up ordering it a lot.
This time I visited "Pizza E Michida" in Konkuk! Konkuk has huge foot traffic and a wide mix of good restaurants and cafés, so it's a neighborhood I often pick for meetups. There are so many places to eat that choosing is half the fun, but this day I picked pizza without a second thought. There are a couple of places around here I always go to... but today I suddenly wanted to try this one.
Atmosphere at Pizza E Michida: peak open-air vibes
Overall, Pizza E Michida felt comfortable and casual. It wasn't stiff or overly formal; anyone could walk in and eat easily. I thought it would be good for catching up with friends, or for a date over tasty food. The open-air vibe was already the best before the food even arrived! 👍 👍 👍
Personally, I think the atmosphere of a restaurant matters almost as much as the taste. However good the food is, if the place is uncomfortable you'll feel let down the whole meal, so I liked that Pizza E Michida lets you eat in a relaxed setting.
