Jung-gu, Seoul ramen with kimchi at every table: Mentsuru City Hall
Mentsuru City Hall Branch is a Japanese ramen restaurant on Seosomun-ro 11-gil near City Hall Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Two friends shared tonkotsu ramen (11,000 won), mazesoba (12,000 won) and handmade karaage (7,000 won), and the tonkotsu broth had no porky smell, with wood ear mushrooms as chewy as the ramen eaten in Japan. Kimchi sits on every table and seating spans the first floor and basement, so Mentsuru City Hall Branch works for solo diners too.
