What is Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch?
Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is a handmade burger restaurant on Nonhyeon-ro 85-gil near Yeoksam Station, with high ceilings and an exterior that feels different from the other branches. It was one of my favorite burger spots, so I went to the Yeoksam main branch of Daily Fix that day.. It got famous after Tzuyang and Kang Min-kyung recommended it, and it's said to be one of Seoul's top three handmade burger places. I walked in thinking, "The ceiling's high and even the outside looks different," haha
How far is Daily Fix from Yeoksam Station, and what are the seats and hours?
Daily Fix Gangnam Main Branch is a 5-minute walk from Yeoksam Station and is open from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. (last order 10 p.m.). It's much bigger than the other Daily Fix branches I've been to, with seating up to a semi-2nd floor. Best of all, it feels wide open the moment you walk in.
Big floor-to-ceiling windows give it an open feel. We were told to sit wherever we liked, so we picked a window seat! I came in the afternoon to avoid the lunch rush, so I could choose a spot in peace, which was nice. They seem to take delivery orders here too, because the kitchen was constantly busy and riders kept coming and going.
After grabbing a seat and going to the restroom, I went to the self-serve bar for pickles and water. Daily Fix's pink pickles are so good too. The staff were busy but still friendly, so props to them!
Daily Fix cheeseburger and classic burger set prices
At Daily Fix, the cheeseburger alone is ₩8,900 and the classic burger alone is ₩11,900, and adding ₩4,900 turns either into a set with fries and a soft drink. The Gangnam Main Branch also takes orders on a tablet, and they were running a receipt review event.
I picked the cheeseburger! Add just ₩4,900 for fries and a soft drink and you've got a cheeseburger set. For extra money you can add a patty, cheese or bacon. You can also swap the bun for a pretzel bun (₩900)! My friend (Bongbong) got the classic burger (₩11,900) and upgraded to a set for ₩4,900 too.
What sides does Daily Fix offer?
Sides at Daily Fix include fries, chili cheese fries, coleslaw, corn salad, onion rings, thick-cut fries and veggie sticks, and you can order chicken too. In the evening it'd be great for a burger-and-beer night.
Does Daily Fix offer drink refills?
We were told the drinks that come with sets can be refilled by pressing the staff call button. Here's the table set with fork and knife and the pickles I brought from the self-serve bar. Zero Coke and Zero Sprite came out first. There was enough that we didn't need a refill before we left.
Two Daily Fix burger sets: portions and taste
With a classic burger set and a cheeseburger set, the amount was more than I expected, and the bun was especially good. Mmm~~ finally the classic burger set and cheeseburger set arrived. Look at that! Amazing. I always feel this about Daily Fix: the bun is seriously good. Freshly fried fries and a thick, juicy handmade burger!
The place is spacious, so I could take photos at leisure, and the full shot came out pretty. I kept picking at those freshly fried thin fries while taking pictures.
The patties are said to be made fresh every day, and Daily Fix's burger sets, made and fried to order, are my absolute favorite!
What does the Daily Fix cheeseburger taste like?
The Daily Fix cheeseburger is said to be a classic American-style cheeseburger made with a 150g patty of 100% Hanwoo (Korean beef). My cheeseburger! A real American-style cheeseburger with a thick patty. It's clean, savory and not greasy, so I always order the cheeseburger. Seriously so good!
We were like, "Hey, since this is the main branch, the patty seems thicker and the veggies fresher and more plentiful, right? Or is it just in my head?" while taking photos.
The fries were crispy outside and soft inside, and being thin made them even better.
The cheeseburger has a thick patty with melted cheese and juice running out, a fantastic flavor! The only vegetable is onion, and it goes really well with the cheeseburger.
What to order on your first visit to Daily Fix
If it's your first time at Daily Fix, I recommend the classic burger. Ahh~~ the classic burger was insane that day. The bun practically melted in my mouth, the patty was soft and thick, and it was loaded with veggies: tomato and tons of fresh romaine, so it really seems like the patties are made daily. If it's your first visit to Daily Fix, I highly recommend the classic burger!
