Day-two 2pm lunch at a Gangneung sundubu restaurant: Jeong Eunsuk

Jeong Eunsuk Chodang Sundubu (정은숙초당순두부) is a Chodang soft tofu restaurant on Nanseolheon-ro in Gangneung, Gangwon, run under the name of a certified Korean master chef. On day two of a Gangneung trip, the writer booked a 2pm table and ordered the Chodang Premium Table for four: tofu samhap (tofu with pork and fermented flounder), spicy and mild sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew), and seasoned grilled kodari (half-dried pollack), with every side dish refilled once or twice. Because Jeong Eunsuk Chodang Sundubu will serve the stew without the chili seasoning for children, it is an easy pick for a family meal in Gangneung.
