Salt bread baked twice a day, at 9am and 2pm

The highlight at Cozy Bear is the warm, freshly baked salt bread that comes out twice a day, at 9am and 2pm. It's baked and sold the same day. When you arrive out front, a bear character hugging a pile of salt bread greets you — isn't it too cute? They're currently running a generous opening event: buy 3 salt breads and get 1 free.

French cultured butter and Guérande sea salt in every loaf

For a deep flavor, they use French cultured butter and Guérande sea salt, and the dough is made with French flour chosen for its texture and aroma. Cozy Bear, a Songdo café that spares no expense on pricey, high-quality ingredients, has the flavor covered.

The red bean in the ang-butter salt bread is made by boiling domestic red beans in-house! The potatoes are domestic too. The coffee beans are roasted by a national-champion-level barista, so you get quality coffee at the friendly price of ₩3,800 for an americano.

Two packed iced americanos

Two iced americanos and two salt breads to go for a walk

Since the weather was nice, I packed two iced americanos and two salt breads from Cozy Bear to eat while walking with my husband~

Bear-illustrated cup sleeve with packed salt bread

The cup sleeve has a drawing of a bear hugging a handful of salt bread, and it's so cute — even the little dropped salt bread details made me feel extra happy. Take a bite and it's buttery salt bread, crisp yet moist. A flavor that makes you happy! This is definitely one of the best salt bread spots in Songdo! I'll be back soon to try the other flavors!

If you'd like to enjoy delicious salt bread with a relaxing cup of coffee, be sure to stop by Cozy Bear in the Songdo hagwon district~
