Is CMS Soundbar near Sindang Station easy to find?

CMS is a whisky LP bar very close to Sindang Station, so it was easy to get to. I was visiting Sindang Station and dropped into CMS Soundbar (CMS), a bar with a great vibe : )

It's really close to Sindang Station, so getting there was easy!

CMS is on the 2nd floor, and when you climb the stairs, a cozy LP bar appears!!

Is CMS Soundbar good for a second round after gamjatang?

CMS is decorated with all kinds of little props and has a warm feel, so I think it's a nice second-round bar when you're out in Sindang-dong. We'd had a heavy gamjatang dinner and didn't want to just go home, so we thought we'd have a light drink, and this place was perfect : )

Is the music at CMS Soundbar mellow or upbeat?

The music at this whisky LP bar near Sindang Station was more upbeat than I expected, and it really lifted my mood. Honestly, I thought they'd play calm, moody songs, but it got so lively, haha

That doesn't mean it was hard to talk, though. The lighting is dim too, so it's a good Sindang Station bar for a date : )

Seating at CMS Soundbar: bar counter and sofa area

CMS has seats at the bar table, and at the back there's a sofa area where several people can sit together.

Just as we were finishing and leaving, a big group came in. The sofa seats looked really comfy, so I think they'd be great for huddling together and chatting.

I don't know whether you can make song requests, but the owner of CMS mostly played upbeat music, lol

• Highballs & cocktails: signature CMS Highball (₩10,000), Earl Grey, Suntory, Jack Coke, gin and tonic, Suntory non-alcoholic highball (₩11,000–₩12,000)
• Switching a highball to a different whisky adds ₩3,000 to the shot price

Soft drinks and snacks

• Drinks: Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Sprite Zero, tonic water, Trevi, ₩5,000 each
• Snacks: tomato cream cheese, tuna canapé, potato salad, pine sherbet, all ₩12,000
• Irish Car Bomb ₩15,000

There's a wide range of whisky, and beer and highballs are available too!! Prices felt cheaper than other places!!

Ordering Ballantine's and a non-alcoholic Suntory highball

At CMS, my partner ordered Ballantine's and I ordered a non-alcoholic highball!!

We were full, but it was a nice Sindang Station bar for sipping whisky and chatting, haha

CMS even gave us cereal, my favorite, as the free snack, and its sweet-and-sour crunch kept my hand going back, hahaha

How does the non-alcoholic Suntory highball taste?

It was my first time trying a non-alcoholic Suntory highball, and hearing it's 0 calories made me like it twice as much. There was no sweetness at all; it was a clean drink where you just feel the fizz!!

The atmosphere was cozy, and it was a good Sindang-dong bar to visit for a second round when you're full. Next time I go to CMS, I'd like to hear some mellow autumn music too?!

CMS Soundbar in Sindang: pros and cons

Pros

• No pressure to come for a second round when you're already full
• Reasonably priced
• Cozy interior with dim, moody lighting
• Not hard to have a conversation

Cons

• I'd been hoping for mellow music? haha

For a third round, we picked up chicken feet (dakbal) from a famous place near Sindang Station and ate them at home >< It had been ages since I'd been to Sindang-dong, and I was sure I'd eat tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) whenever I came, but this was a day where I ate everything except tteokbokki!! lol There are so many hidden bars in Sindang-dong that I want to come back soon : )
