Chinese restaurant in Dong-gu, Ulsan: dontang vs chitang soup

Ulsan Daewangam Dol Jjamppong is a stone-pot jjamppong and jjajang Chinese restaurant on Ilsanjin 5-gil in Dong-gu, Ulsan. Four of us stopped by after seeing Daewangam Park and shared two 2-person sets: dol jjamppong (stone-pot spicy noodle soup), a dol jjajang that eats like platter-style jjajangmyeon, handmade dontang (pork soup) and the new handmade chitang (chicken soup), and we parked at the Ilsan Beach public lot because the spaces in front of the restaurant were full. Everything at Ulsan Daewangam Dol Jjamppong stays piping hot to the last bite and the scorched rice at the bottom is the real treat, making it a filling meal mid-trip.
